I SO wanted to ride out with some friends today, but the weather man predicted rain. Guess what? I only saw a few drops, so we missed a great day for a ride. Perhaps we can have this ride next weekend. Fancy and I will enjoy riding with My brother's no-name horse a lot more now that he is no longer a stallion. When we finally have our first ride together, we are going to choose a name for him. I can't wait to finally give him a name and share this with you all.

Sorry I wasn't on yesterday. I had a sleep over. It was great. We went to see the horses, and they all looked like little teddy bears with their winter coats on. Purl loves to eat snow balls, and Beauty just likes pets. Leaving a vote.

This is an icy vote from Fancy. Tuesday morning when I went out to feed Fancy, she started running around and I could hear her every foot fall on the ice. It was like music to my ears, she was so spirited!

Training my friend's gelding to pull the wagon is on hold. This weekend he purchased a small donkey and wagon. The donkey's name is Ace and he is the cutest, coolest little donkey ever! There is a photo of Ace in Fancy and Tirnanog's photos at the bottom of their pages.

Yea, I ended up not going either lol. It was extremely hot! I couldn't have done it. We ended up going to the lake to cool down instead =)

Oh wow, how did you survive with no air conditioning? We went out and bought one at the beginning of the summer, and thankfully it hasn't quit on us yet. That sucks about Cheyenne. Maybe someone will be able to help soon, and you won't have to sell her. I've tried catching KC with treats, but shockingly she doesn't seem to care. I haven't been able to get out and work with her anymore lately. We're gonna try to go tomorrow, if it doesn't rain again. I'll try using grain, thanks for the tip. I don't think they've been doing anything lately because of the state horse show being last week. But I know there's supposed to be a fun show on the 24th of this month. I'm gonna try to go, but it's not definite yet. Come visit me, Rocket & KC.

Thanks for the votes. I was on craigslist looking at the horse stuff, since my bridle got broke I'm trying to find a new one lol, and I seen where you had advertised about the horse for lease. Then I seen the pics and thought "I know those horses!" lol.
I've been trying to ride, but haven't really gotten to because KC keeps running away. We go over to the pasture really early in the mornings. My mom drops me and my sister off on her way to work and my dad picks us up on his way home. I got KC after chasing her for an hour yesterday, but I didn't have time to ride before dad got there. We're supposed to be going over there a little later tomorrow, so hopefully she'll just come to me and I can actually get a little riding done lol. What about you?Come visit me, Rocket & KC.

Instead of eating while I cleaned up, she stayed beside me and kept putting her nose in my face and then she walked me to the gate.
