How We Met

Sassy and I met at a rescue ranch. I had actually went to look at a yearling colt that was $150. When I arrived at the ranch, the woman that was selling the yearling informed me that she also had a few others ready to take home. I went to look at the one I'd first came to look at, but to my dissapointment he had a horrible conformation. Since the horse I was going to buy was just a project horse, I wanted something that would sell and not end up wasting it's life away standing out in the pasture unused. I looked at a few others, including Sassy. She was on the outside of the herd, but was super freindly when I went up to say hello. She immediately started follwing ME around. I went and looked at a paint mare, and then felt a tugging on my pants. I turned around to see sassy playing with my belt loop, and she had a look in her eyes like "Take me home...Please!"- . I decided then and there that she was going to come home with me, regardless if she's another hundred out of my pocketbook..
