your Moose seems like the kind of horse that loves to show off at what he does best! My Moose does that in halter classes & dressage a lot. Too bad mine cant jump... do you jump with bell boots & a martingale because Im looking into entering a hunter jumper show & Im not sure if those are allowed or even needed. Voted :) Come visit me, Annie & Tickett.

I am assuming that is him as a baby down below? If it is, he was the cutest thing ever! His mom is beautiful. He looks like a looker in dressage. I could go on and on, but I'll stop. :). Left a well deserved vote. Come visit Jethro, Suede, and Casper. Come visit me, Ultra Suede Brick (Suede), Sonny Delite (Jethro) & Casper.

First Show....was last weekend, May 17th. Moose was awesome, I was so proud of him. We placed 3rd in Dressage Suitability out of 13. Placed 1st in the Dressage Equitation out of 11, and 3rd in the Hunter Hack class of 20! The line of jumps wasn't perfect but it was the first time Moose has ever cantered to a jump. The judge really liked him and said what a beautiful free walk he had in the suitability, just couldn't place us any higher because he didn't have a good collected canter. Well he's only 4 and green so I didn't expect him to do that yet. Moose is such a willing horse and learns quickly, and really wants to please me. I haven't ridden such a horse in a really long time. Makes me appreciate him so much. Come visit me, Caspary Farm's Budding Rose & Moose.

First Horse Show Next Sunday, May 17, Moose will be competing in his first show ever. We will be going to an open show that has dressage suitability and dressage equitation classes. It will be great for just the experience. We'll also give the hunter hack classes a try since he's jumped a couple of times and loves it. Wish us luck!! In June, we'll also be competing in our very first combined test. We hope to school some cross country that day too since he's never seen a cross country course, though he has jumped some water and puddles out on the farm trails and jumped a few jumps in the arena at home. He loves jumping. Luck to us then too please!!Come visit me, Caspary Farm's Budding Rose & Moose.

First Trail RIde Sunday, May 3, Moose went to one of the WI Kettle Morraine horse trails for the first time. We went with a group of horses/riders. We had lots of fun. You wouldn't think it was his first time going away from home for something new like this. Moose took everything in stride. He was absolutely wonderful. He got excited a few times with a few little bucks, but he was one of the best behaved, especially never having done this before. This makes me proud!Come visit me, Caspary Farm's Budding Rose & Moose.

Mr. Moose You funny Mr. Moose...Thank you for being so brave when we go trail riding and making sure their are no lions around the corner to scare little Queenie girl. I love how you melt when I give you a little massage and am so glad you are at the barn for all of us to hug. Queenie's MomDiane, Saukville, WI.

Moose's breed is Percheron/TB warmblood. For some reason, when I select warmblood, breed stays blank. I plan to breed Moose's dam, Rosie, to a Dutch warmblood this year. That will be an interesting cross! Come visit me, Caspary Farm's Budding Rose & Moose.

Thanks for the comments and votes. Moose is such a wonderful horse to work with. I have never had another horse I've trained learn so quickly and willingly. He is an absolute joy to ride. We will be going to our first show this month and our first combined test next month. Wish us luck! Come visit me, Caspary Farm's Budding Rose & Moose.
