Hey dana sorry its been so hectic for me . Wel we found why alaska eye keeps swelling up. Well He has an eye disease that one day might eventually make him go blind.I love him but i'm havin to give him up. Since i like to show and alaska is going to need more vet care than i can afford i'm giving him to a lady who just likes to trailride . I feel so bad i feel like my heart is being torn out of my throat.I feel like i'm betraying him .But i have to think about alley to she is 22 and cant show forever. I have to do whats best for her and me.I also have to think about him I'm giving him to someone who can give him the care and needs he needs.So if you see alaska off my page in a few days you will no why.Alley is great and is healthy.-kaylaCome visit me, Contessa Matilda & Alley.

hey dana sorry i havent been on it has been so hectic this week.Christmas and all.I'm glad to here matiise and zodiac are doing good.I know what you mean about the shows. me and alley and alaska took a break in the autunm from shows . Alaska is sick so it looks like this show is going to be me and alley again.Thats ok though just be praying for alaska he has a bad bacterial infection and it is hurting his left eye.H e might go blind in it. So this made me decide to keep alley in english she showed me she hates western by always gets mad and agitated. from peekaboo and susan. we're doing good. i lunged peekaboo yesterday and made her pass by a colorful umbrella. rode buttercup bareback and worked on circles and through cones. the horses got some nice Christmas gifts...2 new 8 qt buckets, hot pink and red, dobbins delights peppermints, pony pops and lots of carrots and apples. i got toiletries, clothes and a digital picture frame. a t shirt that says, "i do not need another horse" made me laugh!! Merry Christmas!
fish, felines, canine and equines all got through last nights terrible storm! big wind and rain leaving us under water again. the sun is out and will dry it up before you know it, though! Christmas gifts wrapped, treats ready for all animals, including a few horse gifts from friends, to be unwrapped tomorrow. can't wait! we celebrate the greatest gift ever given, Jesus, by giving a gift of friendship to all our animals and human friends from HC, DC and CC.Come visit me, Sing & Herd.

Dana its so good to hear from you.I'm so glad spring is doing better.Mom is doing much better she is able to get up and walk around know.She went with us to my grandmothers last week. I'm glad to here the weather has let up . It has down here to.I'm so exited i am takin alaska to his first show in three weeks. I know this sounds weird but i have decided to put alley in western .We are going to do western pleasure and reining,western horsemanship, . The reason why i decided that is because alley has slowed down her trott an can do a sliding stop.Also alaska is going to stay in english he is getting much better at jumping . Alley has done alot of english so i thought it would be fun to start doing western. Anyway there is much more western than english down here. Alley does great in both and western is fun to.So western is going to be alot of fun at the next show. I'm taking alley along with alaska to the show.I'm riding alaska in the english classes and alley in the western classes as i said.Hows mattisse and zodiac? Been to any shows ? Girl i'm so sorry it hasnt been that bad down here . I'm sorry about spring . Give a kiss for me. We have had sleet storms and rain alot ,but those blankets sure come in handy. Alley is doing much better this winter she hasnt been sick once. Alaska is doing good to. He is riding better and better. Soon he may even ride as good as alley. I'm so sorry you have had so many problems. I will be praying for you. I'm glad you ok though. We have had it hard the last couple of days my mom just got out of the hospital yesterday.She and my sister were in the car coming home when they were hit by an eighteen wheeler. I was so scared summer came out fine but my mom has a cracked rib and a bruised lung. Hi dana thanks. that is alleys best picture.I have to put a new picture on alaska though. You know what its supposed to snow down here to. It has done gotten down to 45 degrees in the day.I'm glad to here that your horses are doing good. Summer said for me to leave the club a vote and says thanks for letting her in .Its so hard to believe that chistmas is just around the corner.What do you do for your horses for christmas.? In my family on dec.1 we hang up stockings for all our horses and animals with there name on them .Then on christmas we present our stocking to our particular animal.Also me and my sister will go on a christmas trailride. hi Alaska and alley are great. My sister is bringin her horse to lessons today.We are supposed to go trail riding ,but we will see with the weather. No the weather is not always nice down here sometimes in the winter we will have non stop rain and sleet.Then sometimes we have alot of snow. Sorry it took me so long to reply i'm trying to get ready to finish the shool year and take finals. Hows matisse and zodiac? I'm so glad you jumped 2 ft .you were probably so proud i know i would have been.Zodiac and matisse are such pretty horses. O ya i go trail riding with my sisiter alot where i live . I live in mississsippi. So there are alot of trails .Where are you from?I took alaska to my riding stables yesterday and we jumped some footers for him to get used to it. My riding instructer miss rochelle said the way he was jumping he looked like he was loving it. I was so hapy. thank you . I'm afraid though thats not a very good picture of alley and alaska though .That was in the winter when both were sick and really had bad colds. But they were the only pictures i had that were on the computer. Hows matisse and zodiac ? Alley and alaska are fine. I'm really having to work with alaska on his jumping oxers hes kinda nervous about it and doesnt have alot of confidence about it yet.Alley on the other hand is taking the jumps like no tommorow. Yes i really love my horses and hope someday that maybe someday i can take alaska to the world championchips . Alley is a good haorse and very spirited she is an anglo arab and alaska is a saddlebred..You are totally right you always have such a feeling of acccomplishment when you train your on horse. Long time
Thanks for letting me join the club. I have had alley for five years and have had alaska for 2. They both are really good horses. Alaska is 7 and alley is 21 but she is in great shape . She jumps 2 and a half foot alaska just got started on his jumping training. I train them myself for everything and it is a blast.-kaylaCome visit me, Contessa Matilda & Alley.

here's a sunday vote! the horse's are feeling good with the drop in the temp. it was in the 60's last night! they like to race around the arena when i put them out for turn out time. still kinda muddy in the pasture. peek was kicking at godiva to assert her dominance...new behavior. :) happy she's feeling so good! SHOW UPDATE :)
Hey guys~
Left you a vote! This is a C/P update~~~ Just so you know ;) Today and yesterday Gamble, me, my mom, and my Grandma all traveled to the Oaks in San Juan Capistrano for a B show! The problem was, Everyone was trying to get last-minute points to qualify for championships, so ALL the good people were there! It was more like a DOUBLE A show :) Anyway, My Grandma did really well and got a third in Training Jumpers (2'9). My Mom did an EQUITATION round and epically failed, but did an AWESOME Mini Prix (4')..... But then went off course in the Jump off! I got a fourth in low child's jumpers (2'9), a fourth in Child's jumpers (3'3) and a fifth in the best round of my life in another child's jumpers. TOO SLOW!!! But really good :) A very successful show. Aside from almost getting bitten by a rattle snake. THAT would not be good. At all. My mom screamed and a groom came over and smashed it with a chair. Near death experience!!! TTYL! Left vote!

Hey great club :)
Can I join? I own a horse just about the farthest thing from a pony (he's 17.2 hh) but I'd love to be a part of this! I gave a vote :) My worst fall was on a lesson horse a while ago that looked for ways to kill you. His name was Max (shudder). We were going to a cross-rail (this is before how I really knew to ride)and he ducked ouit. I fell onto his neck and he galloped off. He ran towards the fence with me still on his neck and turned quickly so I fell off onto the fence. The supposedly "Bulletproof" GPA helmet I was riding in SPLIT IN HALF after hitting the rail!!! I ended up with a couple of bruises and a broken nose. I have a couple more stories (funny and scary) about falling if you want to put up with them ;) Thanks!

Ok poll. I have only fallen off once. It was so funny. I was ridding my pony Bbuttercup Bareback at a fast canter. I told her to stop and she did. My friend was waiting to get on to i was half way she thought LETS CANTER! And i was almost touching the ground then i fell adn sorta stood then i fell over again!
