Hi! I hope everyone is doing well! I've really been missing you guys! I'm sorry I havn't been on! As most of you know, I'm a full time student. Grades always come before here. But since I'm in honnors and AP classes, time on here isn't exactly abundant. Plus, I've had a nasty sinus infection for 3 weeks! :( It's finally almost gone! We had homecoming yesterday already! It was fun I guess, I'm not much for dances! =/ But it was still alright. Other than that I'm pretty good. My only homework this weekend was to rough draft a speech, which is ok so far, I plan on proofreading in the morning! I havn't seen stormy latley, but I'm hoping he is doing well. How is everyone else? Great I hope! How are your horses and ponies? Has anyone ridden latley? Well, Heres a vote from us. I hope to be on more soon, but I can't make any promises! I wanted to go for 5000 votes soon, but I dont think I will. Seeing as I don't know how much I'll be able to get on and I feel horrible when it takes me weeks to get back to blogs. Lavender's Update: Yesterday, I soaked her foot for about a half hour, Does anybody know if that's long enough? I also gave her bute to help her feel bette. HI! how are you? I hope your doing well! I'm sorry I havn't been on in days! It had just been really busy. This is my last week of summer. It's been full of back to school shopping and getting ready for the school year. My schedule is messed up for the 2nd time :( I'm going to attempt to get it fixed by tommorow. This weekend was relally hot out! Hottest we've had all summer. It's really cool tonight though :) So I'm happy. Is anyone watching the metior shower tonight? Imight take a look! Won't watch too much. Tommorow will be another busy day with cleaning and such. Were having a BBQ at my house. How are you and your horse(s). Hope everyone is well and having a great week. Hey Guys! Thanks so much for all the votes everyone's been leaving for Maybel! We really appreciate it! We've been trying hard to return everyone's votes! Some days the computer is slower than others and i can only get back to about 10 blogs! Maybel and Lavender are doing good! Haven't ridden for a while but they are behaving themselves in the pasture! Thanks for the advice! For the jumping that I'm doing(small jumps, like on the trails)it will be perfect. Trav has been trained to jump and he competed in Cross Country on the novice level. So, he know how 2 jump, but sometimes he's just lazy and will slam on brakes until I get a crop. How do u figure the time to take off? Sorry that it took so long for me to blog you back. One of our horses,Lacey, is really sick. I've been going to the barn almost every day this week. I've been really tired and didin't really feel like blogging. She is collicing for over two weeks now. She hasn't eaten or passed anything in a while. They are deciding wheter or not to put her down. They have tried just about everything possible to save her. Now they just have to wait for her to show some sign of recovery. Thanks for the vote. I appericate it. I have been riding a little bit here and there the last week. Here's a vote for you. Depending on how things go... I might be back on tommorrow.

here is tonights update: This evening I rode Navajo and worked a little on the stop and moving away from leg pressure. I didn't ride long because I wanted to give him a bath and wash his mane and tail. I figured I would ride a little and then give him a bath because he was in need of one:) I couldn't find my regular shampoo (don't have a clue where it is) so I used Mane And Tail or something like that. Anyway he looks so nice. I am hoping to update pics of Navajo and Chocolate and her sister pebbles tomorrow. Don't know if I will have time but that is the plan. I made supper tonight and that was fun. I made lasagna. I am hoping tomorrow to ride longer but I don't know about that. It is very nice here. Hey!!! I'm so tired!!! I helped out with camp all day!!! Some kids just have no manners or kindness!!! Anyway, I spent so much time with Big Grey today!!! He was even more sweet than he usually is. I walk into his stall in the morning to say a quick good morning and he whinnies at me and comes over and put his head under my chin. He wanted me to rub his ears and scratch under his face. His head is a perfect fit, like we were made for each other. I could have stood there for ever. He actually fell asleep when I was petting him. Then the campers ran into his stall and startled him/ woke him up. Later, we were mucking through the stalls and when it came time to do his stall all he wanted to do is follow me. I had someone help me with his stall because he would just follow me and step all in his pee spots and scater them all over the place. So finnaly after three people in his stall helping me they thought it would be a good idea for me to walk out. He followed me and put his head on my shoulder until they were done and I put him back into his stall. Later when I went to put on his fly mask and fly spray him he started massaging me( how a horse grooms another in the wild)How was your day?Here's a vote for you!!! Thanks for the vote you left us...
