How We Met

I wanted to start a colt and be a part of the training. My dad's friend, Terry, has about three mares that foaled last year, and Terry said he's got some nice-looking yearlings he wanted rid of. My Dad and I drove over to Terry's, and Terry took us out to his back pasture where the mares and the yearlings were, and I was immediately attached to the big bay. He's beautiful.

About three weeks later, when Terry had him caught in his round pen and had a halter on him, my dad and I drove over to Terry's. I paid Terry the $50, and he gave me the horse.
