My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Eat; spend time making our bond stronger; go out trail-riding with her horse friends

Pet Peeves: She hates to go through mud puddles while we are out riding...such a princess...and yet she will roll in the dirt and mud in her field...doesn't make sense to me! She always jumps over mud on the trails and will avoid it if at all possible.

My Horse's motto: “Don’t go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path…and leave a trail” -Ralph Waldo Emerson -- this is totally Kissie's motto...always trying to make her own way if possible (again, usually to miss the mud...lol)

How We Met

I was leasing a Tennessee Walking Mare at a farm for a couple months and then the owner of the farm bought Kissie and another horse from a friend of his. The TW mare's owner came back so I started leasing Kissie and absolutely fell in love with her. Apparently the farm's owner bought her with me in mind anyway so it worked out perfectly! He had no idea that I had wanted a black quarter horse for quite a while before that so it was meant to be. She was a gift from my mom who passed away while I was leasing her so we ended up making it official a few months later. The rest is history! She's been my baby ever since! That was in March 2008 and we've only grown closer since then. She's my baby girl!.
