Sunday's vote from Fancy. We are having nice weather now. Saturday it threatened to storm but the storm stayed away:) We can be a bit more adventurous now!!!
Some have asked who is the lady in the last photo of Fancy's page. She is not me, She is my oldest sister.
Sunday afternoon Tirnanog came to visit Fancy. My brother rode him around in the corral and I followed on Fancy. We did this about 40 minutes +/-. This was the longest I've ridden her so far and she was pretty good, lots better than that last ride! Then Fancy got a rinse, some fly spray and lots of grass before time for me to go inside. Doesn't seem like much, but it was a terrific day for me:)

Fancy serves up this vote for you! Fancy finally has a video on HorseChannel that you can view if you'd like:)
Each day I go out and go over ground work with Fancy. It had been a few days since i sat on Fancy, so Thursday evening I rode Fancy for the third time. She is giving to the bit very well now and getting better. I wiggle around and do some flexing exercises and just sit there until she walks off. I even direct reined her while she was walking and she was listening. When she halted on her own I dismounted and gave her more hugs. I was so happy with those small steps. Then we went out for some good grass grazing. The weather has improved greatly, what have you been you been up to? I hope it is something fun!

OMG i cant beleve dreamer got hotd yeterday and redd today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks 4 all ur support i have never seen some of u on hc but made connections with some of u!2day i went out 2 the barn and my brother and i went hiking on the trails after my dreamer/redd duties of course we had a blast we brought the newest barn dog rosie with us and she was a happy dog then we came back and helped with unloading the horse food from the truck each bag was 100 ibs and each salt block 50 ehh well that will help with my trying 2 keep up my strength i guess.then i went 2 do my new chore i volenteered 4 this 1.because i have a lil extra time on my hands and 2.because my trainer told me to keep dreamer off his supplements so i still want 2 feed him and redd personally.so i fed the ponies pasture and dreamers. the pony happy was pretty happy 2 see his food and came galloping over and then at dreamers pasture he came running and put on a lil show of rearing like black buetie it was amazing he could be a circus horse but now he has some wieght on him he is really buetiful and he is the only horse who seems 2 no how 2 keep clean thank god so people out looking at qhs r always saying how shiny and pretty he is anyways back 2 feeding when i put the salt cube in with dreamer leaving his food and following me like a dog he thinks hes my body guard so i cant pet any other horses lol anyways saltblock i was putting it in its spot and it got a cut all the way down my arm ouch which really hurts because its got salt in it. anyways they added the mini donkey 2 dreamers pature which i keep forgetting and he is adorable so cute when i first saw him out there it almost gave me a heart attack he really scared me!anyways thanku soooooooooooooooooo much 4 ur support and hotd 2 days in a row her voted 4 both ur horses Come visit me, explore the dream.

A Saturday Vote, oh yeah!
Friday afternoon after my sinus meds let lose of my brain i adventured myself outside about 5:30pm to clean up and feed Fancy. Well it was so nice outside I started grooming her while i let her graze in the backyard. I decided to saddle her and do some ground work and i wanted to sit on her again. So I went to back porch to get my shoes. Fancy stood at the gate until I got back. Since I wasn't sure I still had her attention i got the whip and desensitized her to it and lounged her left and right to make sure she was ready to listen. This only took about 5 times and she showed me she was ready. I stood in the stirrups on each side one at a time and leaned over rubbing her neck and side. Then i tapped her hind end to desensitize her to my foot hitting her and I tapped the saddle all over to. And I mounted and dismounted a few times on each side. I figured since she is very forward I would just sit there until she started to walk. I rocked the saddle a few times to let her know that i move too. Then I waited. And she did walk. I let her walk until she stopped. Then I dismounted and she gave me a horsey neck hug and I hugged her back and gave her tons of rubs and horsey nose kisses because I was so happy. Then I let her eat some more grass. I know this isn't much but for me with her it is. Because she is plenty ready and big enough to carry me as long as i don't gain a lot of weight any time soon,LOL. I am just taking it slow like we have done so much already, i go about it like we are just having fun together and it seems to work with her. I pray she continues to be so good for me. She is not perfect but i can work with her and we somehow being blessed get it done!

While my husband tried to spray Fancy's lot to cut down on the dust, she wouldn't get out of the water. She was so funny, chasing the spray and trying to drink from it. She was totally soaked by the time he was done.

Fancy is here with a time for resting vote. Fancy ran around playing in the cool breeze having a good old time, while we cleaned up the yard today.
Willow looks so cute and so sweet. Fancy will be 2 years old this May. I am so excited! I will get to ride her soon. Are you going to train Willow for riding yourself?

important message... please read
Heyy... Everyone who see's this message should really listen to what I have to say... It will help you understand your horse forever!!...... My friends horses are truely great... All of them, Jazzy, Merrylags and Sunny!! And one of her horses... Jazzy, has such a great realationship with her that its beautiful... Next time we do this with Jazzy and with my horse I will video tape it for you... And what we do with our horses is probably the greatest way to form a realationship with your horse... I will notify you when we get the videos of it... And I really think you should all watch it... I taught it to her, for I do this with my horse and I think it is the most beautiful thing ive ever seen... I want to show the world how to speak to their horses in thier language...
