How We Met

The images are from a couple years ago, and most of them are with my brother.

When I was 8 (I am now 15), I started to work at a barn near my house and the deal was, clean the barn and groom the horses daily in exchange for lessons. I rode an Arabian gelding named Rashan and my brother rode Q for the lessons. We were in Westernaires at the time, the owners of the barn were selling Q, and my brother wanted him. My parents told him that the owners had already sold Q. Well, for Christmas, after church, my parents drove over to the barn with all of us, and the owner brought Q out with a big red bow around his neck. A few years later, my brother lost interest in Westernaires, then horses. Around the time my brother told my parents he was not that interested any more, was around the time I had to put my horse Nica down. My brother gave me Q because he had lost interest.

On Beau's blog, there was a story about one of my horses that my parents gave away. Well, unfortunatley it was Q!Along with Q, went Taylor to the same place. I love you Q and I always will! You will forever be in my heart!

My parents gave them away to our farrier. Our farrier said that they were going to go to a girl scout camp. I was ANGRY with my parents that they were giving them away, but I was glad they would be good use to the camps and in my heart I was excited to be able to give all those little girls a chance to experience what I experience every day, and they only get to experience it once, and knowing that I was able to help out with that! Turns out that our farrier schemed us, and gave them away to a friend of his as a birthday present; it is sickening! I have been searching for him and Taylor ever since but cannot find them. :(.
