How We Met

She's not my horse, just another horse at my stable.
She was owned by a girl that didn't ride her as much, and lost interest in her. Thats how I got to riding her, but she was kinda ignored majorly by her owner, so a boy who loved her a lot bought him. Now she's pampered and lover.
Funny story- Once her new owner couldn't get her to come to him, so he fed her a fuzzy peach. Teehee.

A dog looks up to a man, a cat looks down on a man, but a patient horse looks a man in the eye and sees him as an equal.

left your horse a vote! Please vote for Little Diamond Skip! We are going for AUGUST HOTM and 1000 votes. Here is the reason I think he deserves it now Skipper was out in the round pen for some exercise. I think you know how big his jaws are since he's a stallion, well I walk out to the pen to go get Skipper and his head is out. I walk up to him and realize that he was stuck. I thought, no problem, I'll just help him get his head out. well that didn't go to well. when I walked in the pen he pulled back so hard that his vertebrae pretty much went through the top of his neck...i rushed him to the vet. And he was in surgery for 6 to 8 hours.
Here is an update on Skipper
UPDATE: I just recently took Skipper to the vet (Tuesday) to see why he was acting so sickly. The vet told me that he thinks that Skipper is losing all feeling in his right side. in other words he is pry going to be paralyzed. I had to leave him there over night and the vet says it is vital that he stays in a sling for 3 to 6 days to keep all weight of his feet. When the put him in the sling and gave him a few shots he seemed to become more of himself. I stayed with him when the vets office closed to about 2 last night. I wanted to make sure he would be okay. The vet says if he is paralyzed (Which is a very high possibility at this point) then I will have to put him down. :( Anyway for me the sun of all this right now is that Sailor possibly an abscess and if that is the case then he will no longer be lame! Sorry this is so long...just thought you would like to know
