Here's a vote, thanks for the blog. No, never rode Lexxers western, although his dad would love it (you know, he really misses that saddle horn LOL!). I have thought about getting a jumping saddle though. But not till we master dressage a bit more. Don't want to launch off into a whole new discipline quite yet. I'll be showing Lex on my bday Aug 30. Just training level, but it's a start. We're working really hard on getting him on the bit, in a frame, and forward. Well buddy had tentative POA papers when we got him and his show name was Master of Illusion but that name was taken in the Appaloosa club. So i had to come up with a new name for him. I kinda looked at what horses in his family were called and i came up with the name Masters Dreamcatcher. I was lucky cause there were no more spaces to put any letters in so its a good thing it wasnt any bigger. Anyways thats enough about how he got his name. Yesterday was very diffcult for me... When I went to the barn I was informed that Lacey had passed away the night before. I just had a feeling that night at about 11:00 I woke up and couldn't go back to bed. She went very peacfully. One of the workers stayed with her until 10:30 and gave her a pain killer. She just layed down and gave up after the worker left. We did absolutly everything possible. We all miss her terribly and the barn feels empty without her. Somehow though I feel that she is still there in a way. We kept a lock of her tail and her name plate and we are going to hang it in the office so we can remember her.I would still like to make a youtube video of the Horse Channel horses. I think that it would help get my mind off of things. If you would let me use pictures and/or video of your horse please send it to me at BigGreyandShay@gmail.com .
