How We Met

Brand used to belong to a previous farrier of ours. We visited the farriers home to see a Miniature I was going to show thats when my friend Carol and I noticed a beautiful paint in a round pen with a stallion. We asked if she was for sale and the farrier said not to us. He said that she would be to much for us to handle. Well a year later we bumped into the farrier after a year of not seeing him. I asked him about the mare once more I knew he had just went through the big D and as a result he had to sell all his horses. He finally gave in and $350 later we were on our way to pick her up. When we arrived the condition she was living in was horrible she was in three feet of her and the stallion she was pined with feces. The roof on their shelter had caved in and her feet needed a good trimming. When we got her home she ran me over and broke through two gaits and broke our big barn door. But after a month of being with us she took a liking to my Mustang Blaze. Between him and us working on her she has come a long way. She is not ridable yet but we don't care how long it takes her we love her for who she is..
