I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. I found out this summer how terrible that feels too. I had to have my Sierra put down after she caught her leg in a round pen panel and the vet said there was nothing she could do to fix it. Just remember the good times you've always had together and when you look back, it'll always make you smile. Come visit me, Sierra.

See I have other HC friends following me around to your page! :) Well maybe you can add your advice to this request: FRIDAY (TGIF) VOTE ! I need some lunging tips for working on an uneven surface and no round pen or arena on our property ! PETITE FLEUR just wants to run a long side of me! She thinks she is pleasing me but I want her to go into her circle with my lunge line! It is about 20 feet long but I only need about 8 to 12 feet with her because she is a calm gal! I ran more than HER yesterday and getting ready to try again this evening! i rode smooch last night in the covered arena. still drizzling rain here. he was moving nicely at trot and when i cantered him he felt weird. went kinda UP instead of forward. it seemed like we weren't going anywhere and i was on a rocking horse. i hopped off and lunged him at canter and he was just fine. he was doing a western "lope" and i never felt anything like it! lol. he keeps telling me he wants to be a western pleasure horse. peek did a beginner lesson and was a good pony. the little 9 yr old practiced the keyhole race on her. hope all is good with you. A VOTE FROM THE TRAIN BACK TO PETITE FLEUR ! MOM IS COMING HOME AND IS SENDING A VOTE BECAUSE SHE IS ON A TRAIN TRYING TO CATCH UP ON VOTING AND BLOGGING! MOM MADE SURE I WAS WELL CARED FOR!
A LOT OF QUESTIONS ABOUT THE KODAK MOMENT PHOTO ON MY MAIN PICTURE. WELL I HAD JUST COME HOME FROM THE TRAILER! IT WAS A COOL DAY BUT IN MAY THE FLIES WERE ALREADY STARTING UP HENCE THE MASK! hi
just be careful. i saw a bad accident in a western saddle where the horse flipped over backwards and the horn sliced along the scalp of the rider! nearly scalped her from her eyebrown to behind her ear! big skin flap hanging down. ended up the horse's teeth needed floating so he was evading the bit by rearing up.Come visit me, Sing & Herd.
