Here is a late Saturday night vote from your friend: trailhorse Fancy!!! Today I ran up and down the street beside Fancy just having fun. My neighbor told me my husband would be perfect if he listened good as my horse!!! I had to laugh because he is a man too. LOL! Can you imagine a dude saying that about another dude, LOL!!! Fancy was so good, I began to think, I would really love to take a ride while she was in such a sweet mood. So I saddled her and we went down into the woods for the first time with me riding her. She was so calm and sweet! I am sure Fancy will be an excellent trail horse one day!!! I am sooooo excited!!!! I asked my husband and son to get some photos for me. For the next few days I will be sharing them on Fancy's page.
My brother's horse is still sore from the gelding surgery. So we can't spend any quality time with him to get that name in order. When he is feeling spry, we will get that name figured out. I have all the names you guys provided written down and I am ready. Just have to wait till he feels better.

Yesterday I did get to ride. It was kinda cold, but still fun. There was still some ice and a little bit of snow left. Beauty hates the road, and always go on the side, or in the grass. But since there was snow in the ditches, Beauty wanted to go in them, because she didn't know what they were, she just saw snow. And I let her, but then she tried to canter in the ditch with the snow in it, and it felt like she was jumping or something. It was fun. But then I made her stop, because she kept tripping. My sister and her horse Lilly, did pretty good too. But Lilly wanted to go on the ice. And that really scared my sister.

You asked about my mom, she had outpatient surgery Dec 20,2010 and it went very wrong, she had to stay in a special hospital for 3 weeks and now she has to take wound therapy and physical therapy and she is in a lot of pain.

I took a list of names to my brother last night when I went to change Mom's bandages. My brother is very excited about all the great names. I had to call him and tell him there were more great names added through this day!!!! We should be able to chose something that will fit him perfectly! Thanks, you all are the greatest, and I mean that from my very heart!!!!!!!
Fancy hasn't met the new horse yet. I was waiting to let my brother get to know him a little and know that he is listening to my brother before I introduce Fancy to him, because I don't want any instances (he is still a stallion for the time being)

Sounds like some great things going on with you and your best gal pal Tinker. I am sorry about the nervousness though. Are you the least bit nervous before you notice her nervousness? If so try to calm down. If not maybe she just needs some time to settle down before the activity. Some horses like to walk around and see every thing (like Fancy would) and some do just fine being tied out until time for them to participate. You just have to determine what it takes for her to calm down with you. Best Wishes!!!

Hello HC friends and family!!!!! Fancy and I are really missing our time here. Mom is making small improvements each day! This is wonderful because she was sooo very ill.
Thanks for visiting and voting for my Fancy. I will read and return each of my blogs, but it will take a while because I stay with Mom each day while my brothers are working. Your prayers have helped so much!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fancy is missing our times now also. When she sees me she dances and prances and whinnies so loudly. One day I was going out to visit with her and I took a detour to speak with my neighbor. Fancy kept her eye on me as she performed such lovely leaps into the air and called out to me. When I headed back towards her she showed such happiness, it just made my heart melt.
My brother is very excited because he has a new four year old bay stallion:) I hope to add a photo of him soon. I have not had time to visit with my camera.

i haven't been able to ride in so long cause of the weather! i can't ride in the snow and in this temperature and we can't trailer the horses anywhere! today we are pretty much in a blizzard so we have no school! here is a vote for you!
c/p so sorry i wasn't on yesterday it was a crazy day and i was super tired so i just went to bed. ok so now i am going to tell you why buddy deserves hotm. i went to a sale looking for an experienced horse, i saw buddy being worked outside of the arena and me and my mom looked at him. we were a little surprised to see he was only 3. i tried a super pleasure horse that had been to appaloosa worlds and placed. but i wanted to try the "little horse that didn't look like anything" i got on him and he could barely trot and couldn't really canter at all. he had captured my heart. i got my mom to bid on him even though we were looking for an older horse buddy was very calm and seemed very sensible. lucky for us we knew some people there and they were able to trailer him home for us. it melted my heart how he jumped into the trailer ready to go anywhere. when he got home we found out he was MAJORLY head shy. i couldn't put a halter on him for a while. we figure he was beaten around the head at his old home cause the man said he was "nippy" cause he wanted treats and didn't know better. but i helped him get over his headshyness. now i can bridle him easily and i can almost clip the inside of his ears. he is the calmest horse i have ever know and i know i can trust him when i ride him. he can be a mad horse in the field and the second the saddle goes on his back he is a calm boy that wouldn't do anything. i have never had him buck when i am riding him. but i do know he can. he wouldn't hurt a fly and would conquer the world for me if i asked him. he is the horse that is my best friend. i would be lost if i didn't have him. he is my world and i would love to see him get hotm. i would love for other horses to get hotm but it would mean the world to me if he did get it. well hugs and kisses cathy and buddyCome visit me, Blazin Rocky Man~1100 votes please~ & ~MastersDreamcatcher- ~.
