How We Met

I go to greenvile horse sales the third saturday of each month. I had just sold my little pony because she had bucking issues and I was only 10. Then I decided I needed to upgrade to a big horse. So one of the horse sales my mom's friend Alva showed me this beautiful American Quarter Horse that was the prettiest dark bay I had ever seen. She was muscular and tall and had the blackest, shiny, wavey mane a horse could have. My mom did not liek the idea of getting me this mare, only because she was so big and I was so small(12 years old). I begged and begged until my mother ask the owner if I could ride her to test things out. So I hopped right on her, looking down at my mom, she was so tall compared to my past horses. I gave her a little kick and went through the orange tape lane and walked about 3 rounds. Then I kicked ger into a slow trot, then a fast trot. Finally, I was a at a canter. It was so amazing! My bady was mving smothly with her gallop and I loved every second of it. After I was done riding her I begged my mom and my mom finally gave in, knowing how happy and what a good of a horse she was.
