Pet Peeves: Quincy just didn't like white things, he would always get so surprised in a scared way whenever he encountered "WHITE". He would always have this spooked face with both ears up once he was something white. Sadly, what he didn't realize is that half of his face is white.

i got to meet the wonderful joey and her sister nancy. they came for about an hour while i had lessons going so we kinda visited around the activity. had a parent take a few quick pics. i posted one of joey & me with sing, then joey and nancy with peach. it was so good to have my first meet up! Hi Quincy, here's a vote for ya. Remember us, I'm running my beloved boy Angel Hi Tech Image, h.T. for April HOTM and he could use your help with votes during March to help this lovely Angel win. Happy Sunday!
It snowed (again) last night. I normally like the snow, but enough is enough. The old snow hasn't even melted away yet, so now there's just snow on top of snow. Oh well, I'll just make a thermos of hot chocolate and head to the barn to watch the horses romp in all the white stuff. Winter OR summer, it's fun to watch horses run and play! Today is the last day for the next week that I will be able to leave normal daily blogs and votes for a few days. My oldest son is visiting from Kabul. We pick him up at the airport Sunday!!! Today is his 31st birthday! We will be out cramming all we can into a few days. I will not have much computer time. I will try to vote contest each day and I will try to help with the newsletter on Thursday.

Austin and I spent an amazing afternoon at The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. We met our cousin, Lita, Jessica and her boyfriend, David, there. Jessica and I both bought a crop each. Look out Sadie. You're gonna get it. Austin bought a sword, too. Hope he doesn't accidentally cut anything off. He wants me to take a picture of him riding Sadie with it. If she spooks, he'll know it. I went out to see Sadie when we got home. I told her about the pretty horses we saw. All she cared about was the carrots in my hand. I posted pictures on Facebook. Hugs and a vote. Hello again!
After church today I'm hoping to get to get a quick ride in. The weather has been so lousy lately (either too icy, too muddy, etc) that it hasn't been safe to ride. I really miss my saddle time. So, maybe today? we'll see. I left you a vote, and have a horsey day!

Happy Saturday!
I just discovered that they put a riding helmet as one of the gifts you can redeem for Horse Channel points! I was going to buy a new one soon, because my current one is banged up, but now I won't have to because I've almost got enough points to redeem for it. I really want that helmet.

♡♥♡ We had a real nice evening! I haltered the boys and cleaned out hooves and lightly brushed. I gave them their worming meds and they all got carrots after! Turned them out in the middle pasture but they were more interested in Cliff unloading feed and putting it in our barrels!!! Nothing like the sound of a feed bag to catch a horse’s attention ~ lol…Have a wonderful filled horsey weekend!!!

Hey!!I'm sorry it has been so long since I got on here. A bunch of stuff has happened and I'll try to get ya'll up-to-date.
First of all, Joy is doing very good.She had her bone marrow transplant on the 18th of January and she is now at the apartment.We are all at the apartment cuz Joy has to be so close to the hospital after her transplant and our home is to far away.:( Joy is doing very well being a big sister.She has a few problems sharing Mom, but otherwise she is doing good.
Providence Hope was born last Tuesday and is healthy as can be.She looks quite a bit like Joy which is scary. lol She is starting to show a small interest in the rest of her family besides Mom,Dad,and Joy.
Noah and Hannah are doing good.Half of the time they are ready to kill each other and the other half they are just playing together all sweet like.Who knows.lol
Sugar is doing good.She is such a sweetheart.Finally, living up to her name.She was happy to see me when I came home on Monday even though I had been gone for only two days.Sure hope she is like that when we move home in May!!
Angela had beening loving up on me more.She'd let me rub,pat,and scratch all over her before we left.When I get home I'm gonna working on teaching her how to lead cuz a donkey has some stubborness issues.
Lil Elva is getting bigger and I'm gonna try and working on halter breaking her when I get home.She is so cute!!She'll sass Ransom around and it is funny cuz she is so small and he's the biggest one there.
Ransom is doing good.I saved him for last cuz he has really changed.Ransom was kinda aloof.I'd pet on him and he'd just stand there looking around and would hardly ever nuzzle me like the others did.Then about two weeks ago I decided to brush cuz I needed to clear my mind from everything.Ever since I brushed him,he has been more affectionate.He'll walk up to me and nibble,lick,nuzzle,and just breathe on me.It is so cool!!When I came home after being at the apartment for two days.Ransom came to see me.After I had seen him for a lil bit the girls came to see me.Ransom then started nipping and kinda chasing after them like he wanted me all to himself.Who knows...it was nice being loved on though.When I get home I'm just gonna work on building our relationship with Ransom and then ride him some.
I'm doing ok.This time around with everything going on with Joy has been hard.I've always heard people say that horses are the best therapists, but now I know for sure that they are.Without them I would probably be doing bad.I don't have many friends, but I definetly count my horses and donkeys as my best friends.

Happy Sunday!
Well, today it's snowing some more, but I like it! After church I will go out to the stables to see Luna, and go riding if it's not too icy. I keep snowballs from accumulating in her hoofs out by preparing them beforehand. When I clean them with a hoof pick, I then make sure they're free of dirt by brushing them with a wire brush. Then I spray them with cooking oil (yes, like Pam LOL) all over the bottom of the hoof, and especially on the frog and sole. Since oil and water don't mix, it does a pretty good job of cutting down on the snow balls. It's not perfect, but it works fairly well. But I won't ride when it's windy or wet, or if it's just too darn cold hahaha. When the weather is too nasty or cold, I just brush her (quickly!) and spend a few minutes petting her. The colder it is, the less time I pet her LOL.
It's Super Bowl night tonight! I don't care about football, but I want to see the new Clydesdale commercial. I always love those. I hope you have a great Sunday. I left you a vote, and as always, Have a horsey day!

Happy Saturday!
I woke up this morning and it had snowed several inches during the night, and it's not too cold out, so that means it's time to saddle up! I love riding in the snow. Now if only my little car will be able to navigate the slippery roads out to the boarding stable LOL!
I'm hoping to meet with some friends to ride with today. And of course, I will take pictures (I always do hahaha!)

Long time no see! I know it's been a long time since I wrote in the blogs, but I'm here to catch up. Guess what? I found my own horse on Whinny Warz!! I've been playing that game for over a year, and suddenly, while I was playing this morning, THERE SHE WAS! Plus, I got 500 points for finding her.
I hope the new year has been good to you so far. I have lots of riding plans for once the weather improves, but for now, I'm just doing ground work and trick training. It's actually pretty fun.

our cold rainy weather has passed and the horses are enjoying the mild temperature. when i opened the gate to release them out into the pasture sing and smooch began bucking and running laps around the field. i watched for a few minutes. smooch was prancing around in an extended trot with his tail up in the air. i've never seen him do that before. sing was racing right up to the corner of the pasture scaring me to death as she looked like she'd run into the fence. amazing how they can put the brakes on from a gallop. little godiva was galloping laps around the little pony grass turn out, too. princeton was bucking and rearing in place. what a show! A few months ago I began a part time job. Well, that is more like full time now. As you have noticed my irregularity on HC, I am pressed for time and energy. Lately, I have fallen asleep at the computer and I don't know how I have not fallen out of this chair. LOL! When I am mentally and physically able, I will leave a vote for each of your profile pages. SUNSHINE!!! Been waiting a long time for this. Finally the rains have stopped. It is pretty cold outside in the 30's but its much better than all that rain. Now my horses can enjoy the sunshine. Hey guys hope you can help BLAZZE get HOTM march and Dusk his 200 votes! so I am going to put up my free picture editing so look for that if you want your horse's picture edited. Dusk did a free lunge ( the girls at the ranch wanted to see me do a free lunge)Dusk was really mad at me disturb him while he was rolling in the snow! LOL! Got some training done on Markie. BLAZZE and I did a walk around. But and me did barrels and he knocked over all of them( he tries to please me) Oh about Victoria and the goats she is soo confused about the new HC just drop over there and leave a vote! Guys I lost my Vet job at the clinic cause I was not "mature" So yeah really mad at that!!! so send votes hugs to me though the HC world so LOL least I still have the Ranch to look forward to!
