Just daydreaming about riding this spring and thinking: I only have my little "Fancy" horse right now and I think I will really enjoy riding her this spring, but if you have access to more than one, please tell me which is your favorite to ride and why, if you are like me and only have one, I would like to know what you like most about that one.
Tuesday while I fed Fancy she stood at the gate and when I went to exit she tried to follow me. I knew it, she wants to go out with me,LOL. It was barely over 30 degrees so I promised her a better day. Fancy got her better day Wednesday! We have had such cold days Wednesday felt like spring and it was just in the 40's. I cleaned up, groomed her, went over some of our old lessons, which to my surprise she did right off, just like we never missed a day at doing them. Then her favorite, we went out. I had a great time today out with my Fancy. I have left her warm and dry in her stall awaiting the rain (possibly mixed snow) late tonight. We didn't get to walk yesterday because the men came to cut the large tree down and it took all evening. They got the tree down and hauled off the top part. They are coming back with some equipment to load the bottom half cause it is tooo big. They are going to make something with the wood so they couldn't cut it down. This was an excellent experience for Fancy because she was afraid at first. About 20 minutes into the sawing she calmed down and didn't even pay them any attention. I was so proud of her. Everything is a learning experience for our horses, which can be good or bad.
On this grand Monday morning we leave a vote for you in honor of Fancy's last day as QUEEN Of NOVEMBER.
