Nicknames: Commander Rollie, is his registered name. At the barn, we call him fatty or Pollie Roo.
His name is pronouced ra-lee.

Breed: Appendix Quarter Horse

Color: Dark (slightly dappled) bay.
Type of Riding: We do mainly everything.
Dressage - Hunters - Jumpers - English Pleasure - Trail - Halter - Showmanship - Western Pleasure - Reining.
We mainly do Dressage though.
My Horse's Achievements: Jumping his own and my own record of 2'9
For an old western pleasure horse, thats amazing !
My Horse's Favorite Treat: He loves everything; but jelly donuts.
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: He's a pleaser. So anything really. Riding; would have to be jumping or running. On him own; eating for sure !
Pet Peeves: He's a huge goof ball. And he has a werid thing with butterflies.. He always spooks at them !

How We Met
He's my second horse. My first horse was, to my knowledge at the time, was an easy ride. She turned out to be a nightmare. I had spent months working on her and trying to retrain her, but after 4 months I had quit. I was broken spirted. My first horse was crazy, and everyone was scared of her, besides me. My trainer offered me to ride Rollie and show him in the summer. He was very bitter and hard the first ride, as he hated lessons with students (he's a one rider horse). But after a few rides, we understood each other. So after about a month of me riding him, I placed my mare on the market and bought Rollie. I've happily owned him since January 25th, 2009. After all theses months, I'm finally used to all his buttons, ques and quirks. He has a huge heart and an even bigger personality. He may not be the best looking horse, or the highest jumper. But he has a personality of a million horses, and is a total barn favorite and idol..

We didn't get to walk yesterday because the men came to cut the large tree down and it took all evening. They got the tree down and hauled off the top part. They are coming back with some equipment to load the bottom half cause it is tooo big. They are going to make something with the wood so they couldn't cut it down. This was an excellent experience for Fancy because she was afraid at first. About 20 minutes into the sawing she calmed down and didn't even pay them any attention. I was so proud of her. Everything is a learning experience for our horses, which can be good or bad.
On this grand Monday morning we leave a vote for you in honor of Fancy's last day as QUEEN Of NOVEMBER.
