Type of Riding: We like to go on big trail ride with our friends, one time we had like 30 on one trail ride! it was so fun! But When we are home we like to ride in the ring and try new stuff and go on endurance trail rides!!! This summer we are going to try horse soccer!!!
My Horse's Achievements: Reba is a retired barrel/pole bender. She set the record at the state fair when it was her last run before she retired and nobody can get a better time! that was about 9 years ago! she Is now a navicular horse.Nothing stops her though, she never wants to tell you that she cant do it. She has the most motivation to complete somthing any horse has ever had!!!! Reba is the best and i love her so much! Every thing she does im proud of and i Cant wait for the new year to start new Things!
My Horse's Favorite Treat: She loves the homemade horse treats, peppermints, Chips, And Her grain:)
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Reba has passion to barrel race and pole bend, but due to her navicular she is not able to comppete anymore, we try to sqeezze some in though:)Hopeful- ly this summer we can go to some events and trot through the patturns:))

I had to sell my horse when i was 8. But i met my friend a couple years ago and Reba was going to be put down Because the owner didnt trust anyone else. But i couldnt let that happen so i talked to the owner and now here i am with Reba<3.

King Kong was very bad yesterday. King did not want to listen to my brother and my brother's friend wanted to help, so he got on King. While my brother's friend was riding King the horse reared and they fell back. He is ok, only suffered whiplash and soreness. We don't know what got into King. When he reared, there was no bit pressure at all. So he could have moved in any direction and he chose up :(
Fancy was very good. My son has ridden her. He has gotten bored riding in the corral, so we walk around the block and through the car wash. My son loves to ride her. He would like me to turn him lose. But I don't think Fancy or my son are ready for that. Because she is still very young and I know my son does not have experience in case something did frighten her. But so far she has been so wonderful on his rides out. I don't take that for granted and I pray that she remains steady.

Here is a vote from your dirty little Fancy friend. I want to bathe my sweet young horsey, but it keeps storming, sometimes hard, sometimes lightly. I am trying so hard to wait for her bath. I am wearing out brushing mudd off her. LOL! We hope the weather is being nice in your neighborhood.
I saw the new question for the week, 'if you could ride anywhere in the world where would it be?' This is a very interesting one! I would love to ride at historic places all over the world and the beach. I would love to ride everywhere I have to go, all the time! I think I should have been on earth years ago when we counted on horses for transportation. LOL> What do you think about this week's question?

Fancy leaves a vote for you! We had a scarry night here in North Carolina. Tornadoes and storms all night long. We were blessed not to have injuries in our family. My mother-in-law lives in the first home we purchased. It is a trailer and she experienced a little damage there, while 3 trailers on the same road were totally destroyed:( I couldn't wait till morning light to check on my Fancy! She is fine and happy as usual! Have a blessed day!

Hey everyone! Going to try to make this short today. It is sunny outside so i think that i will be able to ride! I hope so! Maybel and Lavender are SO dirty! They just love rolling in the mud! I am not looking forward to grooming them. And they're both shedding like crazy! Maybel is 39 votes away from her goal! Yay! She is so close! Good Wednesday morning vote!!!
Tuesday proved fruitful for Fancy and I. First she had to stand tied for about an hour (for patience) while I cleaned and put her food out, then we went over all of her previous lessons from last summer and her new lessons on staying by my shoulder at a walk, turns, backing, and trot(she did it and stopped exactly when I stopped from the trot for the first time) repeated this several times, she was cool. I saddled her and she was cool, I stood in both stirrups and over her back several times on each side, and she was cool. I stopped there to end on a good note with her. Then we went out and I handwalked her around the neighborhood. When it was time to go in for the night, I went to put my things back in the horse trailer and Fancy thought we were leaving the yard without her and she had a FIT until she saw us go into the house. If we walk into the street without her she gets upset and if we go up the street, there is a lot of screaming and running going on,lol. She is so spoiled. But anyway if I have trouble getting her to go out when I ride her I totally won't believe it!!!

How's everything going? Too bad you missed seeing a foal born but just a few minutes. I've seen lots of different kinds of babies born but not a foal. I'd love to see that too.
I took Pippin with the cart, or rather he took me, up the mountain yesterday. Melian, of course, came along and we went exploring for a bit in the forest. It was a bit bumpy with large rocks and fallen trees to go over but Pippin's a tough little guy and pulls his hardest. I tried to get some video of it but it probably came out all jerky. Anyway, it was fun and he just loves exploring strange and unknown places.
If you'd like to see a bit of his funny personality check out his latest video. It's called Pippin's Stick. Oh, and a movie that I made entirely with avatars has been picked as the featured video of the month! That was such a nice surprise. They didn't tell me. I just happened to discover it.
The day before yesterday we three went on a night time walk. It was pretty cold. It's nice during the day but as soon as the sun goes down it's pretty chilly. We went at a fast pace though and stayed warm. Except for my fingertips.
And today my sister walked Pippin and I took Melian on an 8 mile bike ride. She did really well and averaged about 8 miles an hour. I think her allergies are bothering her again after that though so I had to give her some medication. She's pretty tuckered and can barely keep her eyes open. I haven't taken her and Pippin together with the bike again, even though it was so successful. Pippin can go 8 miles easily but not quite as fast.
The other day I had him grazing in the garden. Of course, nothing is planted yet and he can clear up some of the big weedy grass clumps. Well, he discovered the coffee grounds that we use as compost around the roses and I was told that he had been eating quite a bit. That evening on our walk he was completely wired. He was just running here, there, and everywhere and couldn't keep still. Caffeine boost!

Fancy has voted this morning. I don't know who gave Tirnanog vote #500, but THANKS TO WHOEVER IT WAS! Hope things are well with you guys.
I called regarding the filly. Not good at all. The vet came back and said her body was shutting down and he put her to sleep. I now am dogless. My 1 1/2 yr old german shepherd has hip dysplaysia (don't know if i spelled that correctly) So I had her put to sleep cause I can't afford the surgery and she was showing signs of being in pain. I had a friend offfer me a dog, but I am not ready right now. I will just help my boys care for their jack russel.
Sorry for the rotten news. Otherwise things are OK.

Hello! My campaign for April HOTM starts tomorrow so vote all you can so I can achieve my goals! Mac is an honest hard working horse who tries hard at everything he does and that is why he got Jr. English Champion of all of Saskatchewan!! And that is why he thinks he should get hotm!! Hey! I am now stepping on your horseshoe voter with our daily vote!! Mac was a great at his lesson last night!! I redesigned and put some new pictures on come on down and check them out!! And also check out Mac’s new hair cut in the picture! Pretty short compared to the other pictures! I also want to achieve my goal 600 votes before March 1st!! Well try anyway!!
