Two Haflinger Gelding's For Sale!
Hi I am writing this because I need to find another home for my two horses nick and murray. I have had them for about 4 years and i hate saying this because im afraid no one will want them because of this but they are herd bound one more than the other and i just cant do anything with them cause of this. I think they would be fine with someone with a multi horse farm and someone who would take the time to look passed and take the time to work though their problem more than i can. I have found another horse but cant get him until i sell nick and murray. If you know anyone who might be intersdid please stop by my channel and let me know.

Yesterday was a much better day than last Wednesday. I picked Austin up at school. We went to Phoenix and picked up the wedding dress, met my friend for dinner and made it to school for the parent teacher conference. When we got home I went out to the corral and gave Lightning and Star hugs and hay. It's even sprinkled some rain. Lightning hugs and a Thursday vote. Horsey day was nice. I let Lightning and Star out of the corral to let them stretch their legs and run. If Star runs, you get out of the way. The glaucoma seems to have taken her sight away completely. It doesn't stop her, tho'. I wish I could have the surgery, but it's around $1000 and I don't have it. Lightning is such a beautiful, silly guy. He followed me around and kept turning his butt to me to scratch it. I had to stop raking up poo several times. Austin put the Elvis country CD in the cd player, and we played parts of several songs for him. He paid no mind to the music. Austin then put Nirvana on and he loved it! When "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was playing, he went up to the cd player and kept puttin his down listening to it. He listened until the song ended. It was funny. My friend, Mark, has John Denver's "Country Road" on his ringback. When I played it for Lightning, his ears went back and he walked off. Rick has Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird". SORRY THIS IS ON EVERY PAGE.......I put 2 new pictures of Lightning's face on the bottom of his page. The bump looks like the tumor I had removed. Will have to wait until next March or April to have the Vet back out because of $$. The hole is closing up. I keep the fly mask on him day and night to keep flies and bugs out of his face and off of the bump.... I've got a new Farrier. He's coming out on the 23rd.... Lightning seems to feel good. He was following me around the backyard and then took off running back down to corral and then around it. His favorite route. He started kicking and slinging his head from side to side. I told Rick that Lightning was mad at him. Rick walked up to him and Lightning turned his big butt to him to scratch. When Rick refused, he turned it to me and I scratched it for him. Quality time.... The weather's starting to cool down. Will be able to ride some soon. Still have some triple degree weather, but hopefully, not much longer. Love all and a Thursday vote! The 2 new pictures on the bottom of Lightning's are of Brutus. The doghouse is air conditioned, and he was enjoying it. I found Brutus last July. Someone had thrown him out. I took him to the Vet and was told he's a chow mix. Every now and then, he snaps at me. I figure he was abused. Got to take him in a couple of weeks to get his rabies shot. Will probably get bit. I went out to check on Lightning and Star and found a hole in Lightning's face. He had a tumor removed in April and it was healing. He rubs his face because it itches. The hole is where he was healing. I don't know if he bumped it and knocked the "plug" where the tumor was off or what. I called the Vet. He said that was normal as long as it's not draining.I blew on it to make sure nothing had crawled in, and it made the same sound as blowing in a bottle. I bought some Curad pads and medical tape. Put a patch on Lightning (hope it stays on)and his fly mask back on. The flies are horrible. Poor guy's been thru heck. I get so down hearted. I want him well and to stay that way. He doesn't act like it bothers him, but it looks aweful. I'm so limited right now financially. Aren't we all tho'. Thanks for listening. Love and a vote. Copy'n and paste'n. I had to upgrade my internet service. It was so slow, and kept kicking me off. Then tonight, Wildblue was doing maintenance (I forgot how to spell) and the internet was down. .. It's pretty miserable weatherwise. I remarked to one of the managers at work that it's so hot. He said," We're in the desert." I replied,"yes and I'm also having hot flashes and wearing a padded bra." He said," Joyce, Joyce" while motioning for me to go away. He's not surprised at anything I say....Homeless people aren't handling the heat well. I saw on the news where some are being found dead. The heat is so dangerous. Over the years there have been a lot of hispanics who've crossed the border in the summer and have been found dead out in the desert. I was reading a newspaper article a few years back about a hispanic girl who was found under a tree, laying on her back with her long thick black hair braided beneath her. She baked to death. That article has always bothered. What a horrible way to go. Things have to really bad to risk one's life to come here like that. Sad.....We finally got the fence up a while back, but Beavis and Butthead have been getting out lately. They were barking at something in the front yard, so I finally went out to get them back in the fence about 5;30 Sunday morning. I walked around the side of the house and saw the biggest jackrabbit ever in my driveway. He (or she) had to be at least 3 ft tall. He hopped across the road in a couple of jumps. Now I know what's been eating the top of my agave plant. I have no idea where those dogs had taken off to, but I know it was probably somewhere they weren't wanted. ...LOVE AND A VOTE!.... p.s. The temperature is suppose to be 117* here today and 119* Friday. Going to cool down to a nice 116* on Saturday. It was 110* at 9pm last night. I couldn't believe it. I hosed Lightning down. He enjoyed it so much, he took a nice roll in the poo pile. I'll never get this shirt clean. ...The first 3 pictures are of Randy and Joey the mule. Randy was Star's foal. She is so gorgeous! They're such sweethearts. I fed them some carrots and Austin took pictures, so I could post them. I don't know where Mark was. Maybe some month when the weather cools down, I'll talk Mark into going riding with me and Austin can get some cool shots of someone getting thrown. Randy's been rode less than Lightning. hiya every1!! im back from nyc. i had so much fun there. but i misssed my horse and all my friends from hc! but good news is im not going any where for a long time so i will be able to get on everyday. and uno isnt lame any more. hes still a little sore but i can trot him. not cantering or jumping yet. im tired from the plane trip. m plan got delayed a hour so i was at the airport for 2 hours. ugh... but im home now. and the first thing i did when i woke, i went staright to go see uno!! well thank you all for voting for me while i was gone. heres all the votes back from the past week.!! thanks so much ;) Come visit me, Uno is back and galloping for HOTM November.

the show on sunday and monday did not go well at all. we had to scratch the show becuase uno went lame. we were cantering a warm up jump before i went in to show. he came off the jump landed tripped and stumbled really bad. i started walking in and nocticed he was lame. i get off him on felt his leg and it got really swollen and sore really fast. so right now he is dead lame. and the thing that really sucks is that im leaving for new york and thursday so i wont be able to see him till next week. :( but i have you guys to talk to while im gone. thanks for the votes everyone. hope your horses and ponies are doing great unlike like my horse thats in pain.
