Wow, the people that's horses had brands are pretty stupid! Sheesh! Haha, I hope they've learned their lessons!
I will try to get a pic or two of her teeth by calling grandpa, but they're still pretty wild, so I'm not sure how far he can go with that, know what I mean?

Here is a vote. Taffy looks a lot like a horse I used to ride, his name is Oreo. It's funny how his name fits him, his neck and hindquarters are black and his barrel is white, so he is chocolate with creme in the middle!

What a gorgeous mare!
Thank you for the compliment - Louise and Ted are the only ones grandpa can groom (he thinks Ted was domesticated - like all the others - but Ted has what they think is an Indian brand on his hind).
I came to thank you for the advice you gave me and the help on piecing her past together! I'm going to give my grandfather a call this morning to tell him about your theory. :) He had guessed that Louise was a Quarter Horse, and under the age of 7 and 8. Grandma says 2, but Grandpa says 5 (I believe in my grandpa's belief more though - he was born and raised around horses).
