Very chilly couple of days with snow all about.... and it suppose to be Spring! Hope it warms up soon. No riding or lessons so far this week as it is too dangerous. I was going for a Trail Ride yesterday but where I was going got snow, hail and gale force winds!!! So stayed indoors most of the day..... hope it warms up soon

Hello, we are having a "freezing" morning .... snow predicted and the wind is howling... this is Spring! in Tassie. Haven't done much, just the usual cleaning paddocks, horses etc... Monty is sore again, I think Ali kicked him when they were playing. He was dead lame on Sat, but moving freer this morning. I have him in a sep. paddock and rugged for a few days, as he can't move around much to keep himself warm.... I have an Equine Touch Person, fully qualified as well as an Animal/Equine Homeopath etc... coming to Kahlua ( work on joint and general age issues) and Tulley (he has a slipping patella- last time she came he improved out of sight, but he slipped in the mud last week and I think he has "pulled" something) today. She is amazing. Great results each time she has come. This is her 3rd visit.

Really wet ,wet, wet, down here... we've had a BIG weekend of bad weather.... however apart form looking miserable all Neddies are coping.... it is me that is not. :) Never mind, all this rain, now, will help with the growing season, so the hay should be great this year. :) Have a good week too. The first day of Spring way down here in Tassie... here's hoping the weather helps to dry the ground a bit so we can get working with our horses and ponies. Here is a quick late vote! Sorry I'm late i had a busy day. My neighbor's mom owns a daycare and they went on a field trip to horseback ride and since she knows i LOVE horses they let me come. Of corse i already had my own boots and helmet already but sadly I would NOT have come if I had known we were just gonna be lead on a rope for two small laps!!!! While we waited for the other kids to take turns riding I got photos of some of the horses I'll make a video tomorrow. There was one horse who licked my hands!! Well I am tired and i will tell you more tomorrow about my busy day!!
