Type of Riding: With Missy, I do a lot of hunter/jumping, pleasure riding and even trail riding. We are also apart of a show circuit, which we have a lot of fun competing in jumping and hunter pleasure classes.
My Horse's Achievements: Finally bonding and trusting me. She was mistreated and very unaffectionate when I first got her. Also, teaching her that "slow" is okay! Now we can show in hunter pleasure classes with a very loose rein or jump a course at a relaxed canter. Before, it was the complete opposite and I had to hold on for dear life!
My Horse's Favorite Treat: Missy loves apples.
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Roll and play in water! Every day as soon as she is turned out, she runs out to her "roll spot" and rolls! She is always the 1st one, and manages to get her pasture mates to roll after her!
Pet Peeves: Demanding that she does something. As soon as you start pulling on Missy, or try to make her do something, she gets very angry. I have to "ask" her politely, and she will always do it for me. You can not force her to do it, only ask.
