Hi it is going to be another warm day here at suppossed to be 92 degrees.It only got to 93 degrees yesterday. Mom was real dizzy this morning she made it to the kitchen and used her nebulizer and she appears to be okay now.

Nice horse!
Happy fourth of July! Being from a family of soldiers this is an important holiday for my family! I had a horse show yesterday and did pretty well. I took Lana (Lanas Lil Diamond), Chance (Leonardo De Cool), Pita (Sailn to Hollywood) Jeff (Doc Jeffs) Rhonda (Skipa Roma Star SL) and Rooster (Taylor Maid Rooster). Rooster place third in Novice Reining. I have only been able to show her in Novice Reining because she's gotten some bad habits from the trainer and refuses to work sometimes. She didn't have very good stops but she spun a +1/2 Jeff placed 5th in barrels 2nd in poles and 3rd in keyhole. I hope if I keep fitting him up he'll be able to be pushed in speed events soon. Chance took 7th in western pleasure and 3rd in halter. The judge didn't like how heavy he was. He's used to his small cuttin horses so he really didn't like my judged event horses. Lana took 7th in Jr. Western Pleasure. Once again the judge didn't like how heavy she was. But she did AWESOME for her second show! She is really laid back. Never spooks at anything. Rhonda didn't place in speed. And was a brat all day long. She climbed all over the trailer and kicked at every horse who walked behind her. We think she's in heat. Pita didn't do well at all. I didn't have time to warm him up so during his class he rampaged around the arena and wouldn't stop. All in all it was a pretty good day. Skipper got to spend the day outside. he really liked that. and We still haven't heard anything about the contrast for Pistol. I'm starting to wonder if I should just turn him out to pasture and let his hocks fuse. But I would really like to continue riding him. Well left a vote!
