How We Met

The day I decided to buy a horse I dreamed that I would buy a bay Arabian mare with the name of Mariah, after the old song "They Call The Wind Mariah". I spent every weekend for 6 months searching for such a horse with no luck. One day I called a breeding farm and was told they had nothing for sale but the would take boarders so I went to look at the facility. When I got there, the owner said that now that she had gotten to know me, she would be willing to part with two mares. We went out to the pasture but none were bays. While we were talking, this little gray mare comes up to me and "picked me out" and followed me everywhere. She was so endearing that I fell in love. I asked what her name was and the owner said "Mariah, after the old song They Call The Wind Mariah". And the rest, as they say, is history. It was written in the stars....
