About Me

Active within 2860 Days

I am from Georgetown, IN and I've been a Club Horse member for 7 years, 10 months and 8 days

Nicknames: We call him Martin, Marty, or Mart.

Age: 26 years old

Gender: Gelding

Breed: Quarter Horse

Height: Martin is about 15 hands at the most. He's the tallest horse we have so far.

Color: In winter he is black, in spring he is black bay, and in the summer he is bay.

Type of Riding: I ride him in western type.

My Horse's Achievements: Marty and I have rode in our very first parade and he did wonderfull! Only spooked once at some oxen. Also, before I did colorguard, he was a kicker and didn't like other horses. Now, he can stand right beside an unfamiliar horse and he doesn't care a bit.

My Horse's Favorite Treat: He loves Cherrios!

My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: He likes to do Colorguard and trail riding.

Pet Peeves: Martin hates dogs. He's not afraid of them, he's just out to stomp them.

How We Met

Martin was my trainer's horse. She recieved him when she purchased another lesson horse. It was either take both horses or no deal. After my riding skills were better, I advanced up to a more challenged horse, Martin. Since my trainer was down-sizing her barn, Martin was on the list to sell. My dad's Arabian was getting old, so we decided to own Martin. Little did I know he would become a great 4-H horse..
