My Horse's Achievements: He doesn't have to win a medal for me to be proud of him. He's the best horse anyone could wish for!
My Horse's Favorite Treat: Molasses covered peppermints, carrots, apples, chips, muffins, anything that's edible!
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Jump as high as I'll let him, canter, go to shows and hunts, and run around in the pasture with his buddies.
Pet Peeves: Do any of you use SWAT? It's a fly repellant for horses ears, face and cuts (and any other places where normal fly spray can't get). Anyways, LS hates it being put in his ears! If he's in a very bad mood, he'll rear...working on that! LOL!

How We Met
I used to ride this old lesson horse named Bruce. But we just didn't really get along, so my instructor looked into other horses for me. It turned out that someone needed an exercise rider for their horse, and to take care of it (feed, groom, keep healthy, etc.) So my instructor recommended me and the lady accepted. So I really don't own Lone Star, but it's like I own him. I can go ride whenever I want, and here's the best part...I don't have to pay a cent! His owner pays for vet/farrier bills, tack/feeding/gr- ooming bills, the whole deal! So I'm not really his owner, but he thinks I am, and I must admit that I sometimes fool myself!.
