How We Met

I had been looking for 3 years for another horse after my Arab/Morgan gelding had died. I had looked at QHs, TB,s, Arabs, Morgans and all combinations of these. I had been lightly riding my old cremello mare, that was wonderful so I decided to breed her to get what I wanted. I didn't want a palamino, so sorrels and chestnuts were out. I found a solid blk. TWH stud with an excelent disposition. The owner said he had a colt from this stallion for sale. So I went to look at it. It was a yearling. I asked if he had any 2 yo. He said he didn't. He then went to another field to feed some other horses and I tagged along. I saw this big filly from about 60 ft. away. She was beautiful!. As I got closer she got more beautiful. I said "you said you didn't have any 2 yo." He said "I don't." I asked if she was a small 3yo. He said "Honey, that is a yearling." Wow!! she was big. I walked right up to her and as soon a I put my hands on her I KNEW. I asked if she was for sale. He didn't want to sell her. I kept asking. He finally put (for our area) an astronomical price on her. I think he thought I would give up. I bought her. Everyone who heard what I had paid for a yearling thought I was nuts, but a year later at our first trail ride they all changed their minds. One guy said he had thought I was taken advantage of but on seeing Jane as a 2yo that, as he put it, I wasn't hurt a bit. I told him that when I bought Jane I wasn't buying the filly in front of me I was buying the horse she was going to grow up to be..

☆ As I have mentioned before, I have learned so much with Deacon and of course Whiskey & Rocket. Each horse has brought knowledge to me that has its own value. I think we all carry a special place for that 1st horse that is hard to describe ♥ the 1st year ½ I went trail riding, I experienced penning & cutting cows but my favorite has always been trail riding. Have a great Thursday ~Whinny’s & hugs ☆

Hooves crossed for Whiskey to be ~ May HOTM ♡
<)___~ Whiskey will return to the Doc on May 20th for his next set of x-ray’s. I feel he will be just fine, last dose of bute yesterday and I think in 2 days will tell a lot of how he is but I can’t know for sure until the next visit. I want to thank you all for all the amazing support throughout the month of April. I hope you enjoyed his story and I surely hope I can tell you many more story’s in the future of he & I riding together…God bless you all…..I honestly did not realize how difficult and demanding running for HOTM could be until now! Not having a computer at home really made this challenging for me, so again I cannot say thanks enough, sending love to you & your herds!!!!!!!
Here is our finial tidbit on the Fabulous Rocky Mountain Horse Breed! In the early 1960s, Sam Tuttle managed the trail riding concession at the Natural Bridge State Park in Powell County, Kentucky. He had as many as fifty horses there, including TOBE. This stallion was often seen tied to the hitching post alongside all the mares. He became quite well known in the ten or so years he was ridden there. Besides breeding, TOBE was used as a trail horse. He carried Sam, and sometimes the trail guides who worked for Sam, with sure-footed ease over mountainous terrain for many years. Although Sam would allow other people to ride TOBE occasionally, it was always a ride closely supervised. He loved to show off his beloved stallion, but also kept a close eye on him. Everyone who rode TOBE enjoyed his gentle temperament and comfortable gait. It amazed people to think the well-mannered horse they were riding was indeed a breeding stallion.
TOBE was used for breeding until July of his thirty-fourth year, and he passed on his gait, disposition, and other great qualities to his offspring. It has been said that TOBE's progeny followed in his "perfectly-timed" footsteps. TOBE sired many fine horses before his death at the ripe old age of thirty-seven. One outstanding trait passed on was longevity, as many of his offspring were still breeding into their late twenties and early thirties.
Thank you for your support we appreciate it! Hoping to see him as the top horse tomorrow!!!!!

weekend phone votes ♡
When I got home from work Friday (4/11/14-2 weeks ago) I noticed Whiskey was walking slow and didn't seem right. He has NEVER been sore after a trim but I thought this could be a first time...Brent (my farrier) had been out that morning and put shoes on Deacon and trimmed the other 2. As I watched I knew something was wrong and put a call into Doc Edwards (he specializes in horses only). I then gave Whiskey bute because he then kept laying down and I could tell he was in pain. I watched him drink water, I saw him pea & poop, I listened for guts sounds in his tummy so I knew he wasn't colicing. Doc finally called he wanted Whiskey in early Saturday morning 4/12/14. He assured me that giving the bute was fine and it was the right thing to do. He also knew how upset I was and again assured me that I had caught this in time but couldn't tell me anything until he saw him the next morning. Yes, founder is what it is…..Phone votes over the weekend, his story will continue Monday 4/28…..
The Rocky Mountain Horse Association's (RMHA) rendition of the history of the breed states there was a gaited colt brought from the Rocky Mountain region of the United States to the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in eastern Kentucky around 1890. He was referred to as "the Rocky Mountain Horse" by the local Kentucky people because of the area of the country from which he had come. He is the horse credited for the start of the Rocky Mountain Horse breed. Little is known about this foundation stallion, but oral history indicated he was chocolate-colored with flaxen mane and tail, and he possessed a superior gait. The stallion was bred to the local Appalachian saddle mares in a relatively small geographical area and the basic characteristics of a strong genetic line continued. This prized line of horses increased in numbers as years went by, and these are the horses known today as Rocky Mountain Horses.

My Whiskey boy has the antics of a comedian! In this picture I feel like he is saying “Sit Mom”. I was brushing him-you can see my boots towards his backend on the other side of him. He is so funny but yet so very gentle and lovable. He is in fact my “treat Hound”. He will do absolutely anything in the world to get a treat, cookie or carrot or anything to eat. If you show him how to do something and he knows you are going to give a treat he will try until he learns it to in fact get that treat. I have had so much fun with him. He will check me for a treat and if I don’t have one he will almost shrug me off with a turned head tossed in the air as if he is saying “I’m done with you, off you go child”
The Rocky Mountain Horse breed originated in the United States in the late 1800s, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of eastern Kentucky. At the time of its beginnings, there was no understanding of the need to document anything about these horses. The people living in this region were quite unaware that one day their utility horses would become the foundation of a special breed of horse. The existence of these horses was practically a secret for many years to all but the inhabitants of this region.
Have a wonderful evening. I will phone vote tomorrow and pick back up on Wednesday. Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

Celebrating Easter with love, hugs & votes 4 all!
✞ Picking up from yesterday about him tossing his head about bugs. Sometimes I can make a pony tail in his fore lock and that helps a lot. I think he sees his hair sometimes and over reacts, big ol’ treat hound! As soon as we get under the trees on those trails he just stops tossing his head and settles right back into his awesome self. I will add Rocky Mountain facts to my blogs for the rest of our HOTM run. I hope you enjoy them =)
The history of the Rocky Mountain Horse from 1890 to the latter part of the 1900s carries little or no documentation and few facts that can be proven beyond the shadow of doubt. Everyone who personally witnessed the breed's beginnings (back to the 1800s) is deceased, and we have been left with only verbal history passed down from generation to generation. Thus, all that can be recorded at this point in time are the stories recollected by living descendants. Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

Have a wonderful day ♡
The more we rode the better Whiskey got at reining. The more miles and trails the easier it got on me and him. I discovered Whiskey loves the water. The picture today was taken 8/2012. We can get in a few minutes but I have to move him out or he will try to lie down, but I can take him right back in and then he settles to stand, doesn’t swim yet with me. We are still working toward that. We haven’t camped out in nearly 2 years, and that is when I can try to swim with the horses. It’s too hard to try swimming when I day ride because of the drive home (driving wet is no fun) -ha ha =) Deacon is my true water baby-he will actually swim with me and never try to lie down. I have also found that Whiskey hates for any type bug to fly in his face-so needless to say while we ride in the open if there are grass hoppers or butter flies, regular fly’s he tosses his head slightly. It doesn’t bother me now but it used to. Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

Today Whiskey is bowing on the 1 year anniversary of the West explosion. God bless our beautiful town our motto is “After West, forever forward”. God bless our town and God bless America! I continued to work with him and every now and then I still put the O ring on him and to keep him sharp. I am not all that good with all kinds of bits. I have not mastered the bit world-well, probably not a lot of horse things but I am on my journey and heading that way. I can ride Whiskey & Deacon both with just halters on but have never tired bridle-less yet. Another goal of mine after I finish getting my round pen larger and have a set up where it will work for us. Whiskey & I continued to push forward and of course everyday he got better and better. We were learning each other and I loved every minute of it. Phone votes tomorrow, I will get back to our story on Saturday. Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

The 1st few times I rode Whiskey my arms were wore out and tired. I was thinking “man what in the world”. He did not and could not Neck rein. He was very hard in the mouth, no flex in his neck but Karla & Tim told me he needed that kind of work. Tim felt he didn’t ride him in collection and so on. He was Tim’s first horse. We would get under the canopy of the trees on the trails and he would do great with my seat aids which I was happy about. That is how I ride him, with my seat and leg aids. I guess we all are supposed to do that RIGHT!!!! I then started planning my next few months of teaching him to neck rein. I just went back to the beginning and put him in an “O” ring snaffle and took it from there. Every day his personality would shine and he entertained Cliff & me with his antics! Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

Finally that Saturday morning rolled around. I could hardly sleep the night before. Everything was running threw my head about what I was going need and about if I had everything ready for his arrival to our place. I kept thinking about how alpha Deacon was and how they would get along. After all they have road a thousand miles of trails together. . The more I thought, the more I felt like after the ride we would come on home instead of camping. I wanted to get him home and on our property to make this dream come true for me. I had never rode Whiskey until the day I bought him, can you believe that!!! It did not matter to me how he rode at all, I wanted him and that was that! We had a nice ride that day and came on home. Cliff broke out his tools and started working around the barn. Today’s picture is of Whiskey’s first comedy show for us. He said (ha ha) “Dad, I can bring this orange Home Depot bucket to ya, I know it has feed in it for me!” Enjoy! Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

That is so sweet for you to stop by & I thank you as well =)

We left off Friday about the phone call to buy Whiskey! The arrangement was made for us to meet that weekend and Whiskey would be mine. The next few days were like a life time to me. I had put in a vacation day for that Friday because I knew I couldn’t concentrate and I wanted to get everything ready for the trail ride …I mainly wanted to get everything ready for his new home with us. Cliff was putting in our stalls at the time. I came home the day Karla called and talked with Cliff of course. Like I said he wasn’t working but he was working at our place (love cheap labor) lol. That next day after work I came home and he had added the 3rd stall, I started to cry of course because I knew he understood how badly I wanted Whiskey. Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

As we ate lunch and rested, Whiskey walked over to me several times. He would nuzzle my hand (at the time I didn’t know he was a treat hound) and I felt as if we bonded and we were linked in some way. I told Karla right then and there that if they ever sold Whiskey to please contact me first. He has marbling on his lower legs that are silver, chocolate and nearly liver color (see his profile picture for today). It amazes me to still look at how he is marked; he is just absolutely beautiful-but I’m parcel!!! He is our escape artist, the one that can get into or out of ANYTHING; such a smarty pants and a treat hound lol. Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

Monday we left off about Whiskey’s color and me with 5 hundred questions for Karla! Here we go…That poor girl had never met me before and I could not shut up :) I then walked over and looked Whiskey right in the eye and he looked back into mine and my heart sunk. His beauty was striking and the color was outstanding. He had a smart, sharpness about him-I’m sure he was thinking “what in the world is she doing”. The ride finally got underway; usually everyone has me ride out front and calls me the trail boss! Deacon is a faster walking horse but can ride in the middle or behind after the first hour or so. Well, here comes Rio & Whiskey with their smooth selves!!! They just gaited their smooth self’s right past me & Deacy. I watched Whiskey and noticed he didn’t quite move the same as Rio but still a difference from a QH. 2 hours into the ride we decided to rest a few minutes in a place we call “Carol’s lounge”. We have names for all our spots we ride to rest or to take a break out there because it’s so big. Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

Now were into “Whiskey’s” story really good! I finished getting Deacon ready for our all day ride. We always pack drinks and hotlinks or some sort of sausage/lunch meat for lunch. Bill got a call that they were pulling in and asked us to wait a few minutes before heading out. I guess we had about 8 riders starting out then Karla & Tim made 10-oh what fun! They pulled in and parked and they started to unload the horses and of course I was already curious. Out came this Smokey chocolate colored horse, smaller built and my jaw dropped open in awe….Her horse Rio changes colors as all Rocky’s do throughout the year so he had almost a buckskin color but he is what they call a chocolate color. Then out comes Tim & Whiskey~~~~OMG I thought I would faint…..I was speechless….I had never seen a horse look like that nor that color…I went over to Karla and started all the questions and she explained that Whiskey’s color is called “Red Chocolate”. To be continued Wednesday, phone votes tomorrow =) Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

Whiskey would love your support for his HOTM run
In 2008 the decision was made after a talk with our boy’s and Cliff. It was time for me to get back on my horse journey. I purchased Deacon in March 23, 2008 and then bought Whiskey in May 2010. When I run Deacon I will tell more about the 1st 2 years back on my journey. Now that you have some back ground on me and my journey I will start Whiskey’s story with me. As many of you know I trail ride and use to camp with the horses all the time, now we just day ride. Hoping this spring sometime to camp again-fingers crossed =) It has been 2 years sense we have camped out with them. We would camp at Mccown or Plowman Valley at Lake Whitney Texas or at Reynolds Creek Lake Waco, Texas. During those times I have met a lot of people and their different type of horses. On one Oct. weekend we had some friends of Bill’s that was coming that I had never met. I asked Bill as we all were getting our horses ready for our ride that day, what type horses did these friends have? He said Rocky Mountain horses…I said hummmm, never heard of that breed. The thoughts in my head about this breed had me so curious. Now tomorrow we are into his story fully….hang in there! Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

Generally healthy horses, they often live long lives but do have a tendency to be extremely "easy keepers". Care must be taken to keep your Rockies from becoming too overweight, particularly in their later years.* Thank you for your support we appreciate it!

how are things? have you been hitting the trails? not sure if you're affected by all the snow or not.
today was a near perfect weather day. around 70, slight breeze and clouds drifting. i rode sing after my lessons were finished. picked up feed but did not have time to unload it. i'm so happy that my riders are catching on to riding buttercup and peach. buttercup is still trying to pull the rein away and buck a little but my one rider is figuring out how to ride through it. peach was good today for her rider who used to be afraid of her. makes it more fun for everyone. the pony pops came! godiva and princeton are happy stall campers now.

Fancy and Trigger are leaving this vote in honor of Angel Peek-A-Boo.

Peek was the first member of Cross Creek Herd that we met. We learned a lot about Peek during that time. She was a very peculiar little filly because Susan had to earn her trust and indeed she did earn that from Peek with her strong love and determination. Heaven has another special angel. Peek earned her wings.

Susan will be sad for a while, which is understandable. Susan loved Peek and made sure her life was good as any horse could neigh for.

May God bless the children that had a grand ole time with Peek A BOo. I am sure the children will hold those memories in their hearts. Gosh I just think of the videos! Such cute little ones riding such a cute little horsey. Just to think of the memories that they have shared with us melts my heart.

We forever love Angel Peek A Boo ♥

John 3:16 (NIV)3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

HI, I was in contact with Angel Doobie's (#211407) owner today and she would like to share her feelings about Angel Doobie with you. This is what she said: "
Besides being the best horse in the world. Let's see he had a uniqueness about him in that I think that I found and not his owner. Also he was super fun to ride. He had this huge canter stride that most people probably would not have been able to sit too but I could. He was just one of those horses that you could drop the lead and he wouldn't move. As a matter of fact I forgot something in my car one day. I of course had him on lead, I didn't know that I had let the lead go until I shut the door and looked down. I saw that the lead was completely on the ground."

I love my Fancy and I love to adore the beauty in all horses. To own or lease a horse so sweet as Angel Doobie is a dream come true. There are many of us here of HC that are living that dream right now!

Still rainy here in NC. We are expecting rains for several days. It is not so bad. But sun shine is so much better ♥

I have been pondering upon a question of my own righteousness. LOL! I grant you the truth I am no different from the lowliest, I have my moments, I don't always make the right choices. I guess my difference would be I believe in God's forgiveness through Jesus Christ. That makes this time of year all the more special.

Love and a peaceful night to you ♥

Hope you enjoyed a Terrific Thanksgiving with Family, friends, and pets ♥

We did enjoy Thanksgiving Thursday here. I cooked a broccoli casserole and a punch bowl cake, which are the only specialties I have. We ate Thanksgiving dinner with my husband's family. Now this Saturday, we are eating Thanksgiving at my mom's because my oldest son could not come home until Saturday. My husband says we will get fat from eating 2 Thanksgiving meals.
Our oldest son is about 3 +/- hours away from us now, but each time we see him is like a holiday all over again. LOL.

Fancy and Trigger has only one concern right now and that is to eat grain and hay.
Fancy received her HC prizes today. I told her we have so much to catch up on this coming spring!!!

I had the injection in my shoulder the first of the week and yes my shoulder feels better. I don't have to put a small pillow under my shoulder when I lie down now ")

I expect my oldest son to arrive any time this evening. In the morning I prepare another batch of my casserole and desert for tomorrow's holiday dinner!

I am most thankful for God's blessings of precious family, friends, having my needs met, and being able to come close to having most of the things that I want in this life.

If any one rode for Veterans Day and wants to be added to the Veterans Day page please let me know!

I logged in Saturday morning, and my family yelled at me to come on, let's go! We went to VA taking furniture to my oldest son. It was wonderful to see him again! This was the first time he ever cooked anything for us. He cooked a nice breakfast for us.

It was very hard to keep from using my right hand after the brace and bandages were removed. I had to back down many times because I made my wrist hurt a lot. I said I would not do anything after church today because I wanted to blog. So here I am.

A wild cat had babies at Buttercup's farm. She left one baby to die. We took in the abandoned kitten and it almost died. Did we have some friends that prayed for him and a vet staff that really feel in love with that little kitten. Today he looks normal, eating, and pouncing all over the place.

One evening a young lady came calling. She wants me to teach her all about horses! I am pretty excited. I told her I would not be able to do much till after my wrist surgery in December. Her response was for me to take my time and heal up completely because she wants me all the way well and ready!

My oldest son and little Cowboy have been riding Fancy & Trigger. My oldest son does not know how to ride Fancy. He drives her with both hands and they look like an airplane. I tried to tell him how to ride her, but he said she will not turn for him and she rides like a bus. I told him when I am able, I will just have to show him!

I want to ride! I think I will be able to get in a ride before the end of December surgery date, if the weather works with me.

Thanks for being great HC pals. I do miss my daily blogs, and I may be able to blog a little more until the end of December, depending on my wrist. I can't wait till spring 2014!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to be like a little kid when time comes and I go outside and do what ever I want to do!!!!

Be Blessed Have a wonderful evening ♥

How is the lovely little Grandbaby?

HI! I wanted you to see how cute the winner of our costume contest is so I loaded some pix at the bottom of Fancy's page. The first place winner is the very first photo there. Look quick because I will have to delete those photos soon ")

I also entered Fancy in the HorseChannel costume contest. If you have time, please vote for Fancy each day. I know it is a bit much to ask right now because I am off line soooo much.
I am trying to get straightened out. I have yet another hurdle to cross. This Friday September the 27 I am having my first carpal tunnel release surgery. Soon as it heals, I am expecting to have the procedure on the left wrist. I will be offline Friday and off and on line depending on how my hand or wrist feels and if I am woke because I will be taking my pain meds. I have grown into a huge wimp when it comes to pain.
I have no idea how the coming days will be for me. I plan to be back with you soon. Fancy misses sharing her regular perceptions with you ♥

Evening storms for the past two days. Expecting to continue Monday. I am sure we will have a find Labor day, but there will be nothing special going on here.

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS: Joyful trust in God will get you through any trial.
How do I consider it joy in the middle of a trial? By knowing what God will do as a result of the trial or temptation. The trying of your faith worketh patience. The concept is that you are tested for the purpose of being accepted, received, and welcomed. (Bible Studies For Life)

LITTLE COWBOY CLASS/Word of the Day: “Crossties: Gymnastic apparatus.”

Have a good night ✞

Here is a Fancy Thursday vote.

Today we appreciate a lovely Carolina day! We are expecting more rains to come in for the weekend. How I would love a trail ride right now. But I can't have that ride right now.

Hope it is lovely weather at your house ♥

It is such a delight to hear from you. I know things have been wild in your neck of the woods also. We are all in one piece. Trying to get back on track. I am having issues with my back. My son and husband seem to be fine now. I was very afraid regarding both of them. They seem to have recovered which I thank God for.

How is your family? I know Jane has been on rest, But how is everyone else. How is Holly? I wrote her a message on FB. I hardly get on there. Just every blue moon. LOL.

Do you think you will make the beach ride this year?

Thanks for your kind words and encouragement towards me, my family and each other here on HorseChannel. We all need encouragement at some time or another. You never know when you have made someone's day just a little better ♥

Just as us Carolinians began to complain of the heat, we are cooling down again. LOL! I think the horses love it. We are having showers or a storm almost every evening.
Cowboy is thinking of school now. He wants more summer. Trigger is quiet and easy going as usual. My brother brought some squash to me from a man that I gave manure to this past summer. I searched the internet to find out if it is safe for horses to eat squash. It is safe, so Fancy had some home grown squash today. Our whole family ate squash today. I thought it was only fair to share with Fancy since she helped produce them ")
Have you ever given your horse squash, Maybe something totally different?

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS, My Owner is: A culinary perfectionist: checks every section of hay for mold but doesn't blink when she petrifies dinner in the microwave.

LITTLE COWBOY CLASS/Word of the Day: Longeing: Procedure for keeping a prospective rider at bay.

Have a pleasant evening ✞

I've been thinking about Lightning. I only had him for a year, but that year was filled with experiences that touched my heart. He brought out something in me that I'd lost touch with, long ago. He was such a blessing to me. I joined HC because of him, and met you all. You're some of the most amazing people I've ever had the chance to get to know. Hard to believe how time has passed, how things have changed and how my love for all of you has grown. Even though I copy and paste, and send quick votes a lot, please know that each vote is always sent with love. God Bless. Love and a vote.

How are YOU?
Surprise!!! For the next 7 days our chance of rain increases each day. How about that. I thank God we are not in a drought, But Lord knows, when the sun shines, I will Thank GOD for that tooo ")

Does your horse sling grain on the ground? Can you tell me why? Fancy began to do this a few weeks ago. I changed her food container. She was still slinging grain on the ground. This morning I put Fancy's grain in a huge water tub. Well, she ate calmly. LOL! I wonder why was she slinging grain to begin with.

Remember I lost something off the horsetrailer on my way to Trigger's vet appointment? Well, I found all three of my stud chains at home. So it was not a stud chain. Now I am really concerned. What in the world did I hear sliding of the trailer that sounded like a chain???

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS, All I Need to Know in Life I Learned From My Horse: In times of crisis, take a poop.

LITTLE COWBOY CLASS/Phrase of the day: ANY VET CHECK WELCOME: Please pay for us to find out what is wrong with him!

Have a lovely and peacefully blessed night ✞

Hi Janie, here's a vote for ya. Today March 24th would have been H.T. 21st Birthday! Onto 2005 with the adventures of H.T. What a show season for us. We were at the NJQH Youth show and showing in Trail class. You know I love trail class, right! Well, We were going against this woman from Conn. with her two horses that show at the Quarter Horse World Show and are always in the top 5 placings! I'm like, I'm out of my league! But we showed the Select Class and there were about 6 riders in our age group. HT. had an awesome pattern! Placings were called and we were 1st and 2nd under the two judges. I beat her and then came in second to her, we kinda flip flopped on the placings. I was on a high like you couldn't believe. He was so good, we did the Open trail then, against like 11 horses and were 2nd and 3rd under the two judges. I couldn't contain myself after that, I cried tears of joy all the way back to the stalls, then had a beer! Yeah, me the person who don't drink! LOL!
What a day today! Paige is just getting better and better and I'm really learning to feel my way through all the moves to keep her up without letting her get to out of frame! We are really becoming a team now! Karen of course has no problems, but hey, that's why she's a trainer! LOL!
Got home and it was like 45 degrees, got the kids out for a little fresh air and moved hay to the barn. Wood to the garage in preperation for tomorrow's big snow storm! Yep another one! Oh well, after all it's spring! NOT!!!!! Love ya, Marion and the blondies.
Hi Deb, how are you, so great to hear from you again. Have you been getting in a lot of riding, and of course, did you do the St. Paddy's day parade? Everytime I see a parade I think of you and Jane
