How We Met

My mom and her friend were looking on craigslist one day and they found Sampson. He currently was living 45 minutes away from our house but we went to look at him anyway. When I first rode him at his barn. he was great! but at the end of the ride he bucked me off because I was so used to collected horses and i collected him at the canter. I was so upset because i thought my mom wouldnt get him for me. So as we were leaving the paddock my mom said "1,000 is too much for him, i will take 100 or less because i have to get a trainer so he wont buck anymore." we got in the car getting ready to leave and the man that owned Sampson ran to the car and said "we will sell him to you for 100." I was so happy! All day i was thinking about him! drawing him and getting his stall ready for his arrival the next day. When we picked him up i gave him a hug and a carrot to let him know that i was his new owner. he looked at me with is big beautiful eyes and nudged me softly with his nose. At that point i knew that we would be the best of friends. and we are....

Sampson I love your Sampson - I have a Sampson too but he's a donkey. he keeps my rescue arabian company. I also have three appaloosas (not rescues).. Appaloosas are my favorite breed! hey cool looking horse my horse is spoiled but she listens to everything i say she is a great horse and my first horse we are practicing for barrel racing she barrel races,jump,poles and a little bit of dressage but i want to barrel race.
