It was another hot day. I let the girls out of the corral late in the afternoon. Sadie was at the backdoor trying to open it, again. She and Star got lots of carrots. When Sadie realized I was out of carrots, she turned that big butt to me to scratch. I found the right places, too. She stuck her bottom lip out and enjoyed it. So silly. i hope everyone had a wonderful and well rested weekend! first off i just want to thank everyone soooo much for juanita's HOTD!! it really means alot!! you all are like my third family hahah! you're always so supportive and caring and you always brighten my day :)
** GREAT NEWS!!! ** Ziggy is %100 sound and ready for shows again!! i went over to my trainer's new barn where they're keeping him and three other horses for the first time on friday and saddled zig up as well for the first time since his injury. I just walked him around the outside of the main barn for the first like 10 or 15 minutes since the barn's not too big haha and then my trainer said that he looked great so she decided and asked me to make him trot and see what happened. he was alittle slow at first but then he started trotting beautifully like he normally does!! he didn't seem to have a problem with that either so i trotted him around the barn for about 10 minutes with no trouble so then my trainer hopped up on the fence and told me to trot zig around the the big pasture surrounding the little pasture around his barn. and MY GOODNESSSSSS he was ready to GOOO hahah! i started off at a nice steady trott up the slightly inclined pasture hill and then on the way back down....BAMMM he shot out like a rocket! hahah he took off cantering with me and it took all my strength to pull him down to a trot again! lol you could tell that he was so ready to just let loose and run! he took off cantering with me almost every time we headed back down the hill lol i had to REAAALLY shorten my reins with him, and when he was trotting down the hill he was going sooo strong and i bouncing all over the place :P It was so much fun riding him again. It reminded me of how much i miss riding him and how responsive he is as well lol compared to juanita he's a saint :) anyways after his ride he was still sound and jess, my trainer, said that he even looked sound when he cantered that little bit with me on him hahah. she said that he looks good and happy and that he is now free to go to shows again!! not jumping yet but walk trot shows and possibly cantering by july for my first show, he just has to get used to the work again, slowly but surely! im just so happy that he's better! over joyed actually hahah! i put up photos from my ride on friday on zigger's page so go by and check em out! so i won't be riding juanita much anymore :( except maybe for jumping at first in case zig isn't ready for that but last sunday was my last lesson on her. anyways that's all the good news that i have to share with you all! i thank you all for all the prayers and support that you've given ziggy since his injury, it has really seemed to help! thank you sooo much! im leavin a vote and i hope all is well with you!

Thanks to those of you who know about Angel Pixie Dust's May HOTM run and are understanding about my blogs. Trying to reach those who never got to meet Joanna.............. I've been a member of HC since Jan,27,2010. I've met some of the most amazing people here. Made some wonderful friends who I love very much. ****Up Date on Gold Metal****Stopped by the farm and took a couple new pictures(stop by and take a peek. Looks like the tenant are moving out. All his animals are gone. So this is good for Gold Metal and his family. They will now have there 20 acres back for pasture. Time to put weight back on. They have received help, and are being watched closely.

Out break of EHV-1 in 6 Western states.he states affected so far are Arizona, Utah, California, Idaho, Washington and Colorado. Rick was in a horrible accident Tuesday morning that was nearly fatal. Only God saved him from a sure death. He's still in the hospital. He's suffering from a split eye lid, his nose was crushed and his chest is sore form the airbag. His shoulder and back are bruised. Minor injuries compared to what could've been.
