Hi, my name is Pippin and I am running for horse of the month in January. I am a cute but feisty miniature stallion and at 31" tall and 200lbs, I can literally pull my own weight! I love going out with my humans and my favourite activities (after eating, of course!) are driving and jumping. But… really I'm game for anything asked of me. Nothing much scares me and I LOVE new and exciting adventures.
Do I have any faults? If you ask me, of course not! I'm perfect! If you ask mama? Well, she doesn't like me nipping her (oh, but it's so tempting!) and she wishes I were better with water. I'm not too keen on baths or puddles.
Next month I will have been on the Horse Channel for 4 years and I'm the oldest active member. I would greatly appreciate your daily votes and support for me all next month. I plan to educate all my fans on the wonders of minis and I hope to highlight one of my movies each day.

Today was a nice one. Austin and I let the horses out of the corral and chased them around the property for exercise. That worked out for them and us. Lightning holds that head up as his powerful legs work to catch up with Sadie who has that tail curled as she stampedes across the back of the property. She kicks and bucks and has a great time as Star brings up the rear....Austin put Lightning in the corral before we saddled Sadie. He threw a fit wanting out. It'dbeen 2 weeks since I'd ridden her and I figured I'd be thrown over the house. Sadie fought the bit a little and didn't care to be saddled, but she stood still as I mounted. Big accomplishment! Star followed us around. Not the best idea 'cuz she kept nipping at sadie. I smacked her on her mouth a couple of times and told her no. Sadie was so good. Running her before riding her worked great. Great day to all and a peaceful night with a vote from Fancy♥ We hope you have enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with family, friends, and pets:) Isn't all the snow such a lovely gift from above. If it has snowed at your house, enjoy it before it melts and turns to mudd. Fancy and Bindi have been very busy little girls today. Fancy enjoyed her first snow ride ever today. She didn't mind the snow one bit. She wanted to go, go, go! Bindi got lose and mauled a poor squirrel and we don't even know how she got lose. This was the first time she didn't run away when she had the chance. I was very proud of Bindi for staying in our yard.

Hope you had the Christmas of DREAMS ! Mom & Dad walked up their icy hill to feed the 17 ponies some of Petite Fleur’s hay and grain cube treats she had left after going to heaven. Four of the pony mares are pregnant and their owner passed by on his quad all terrain vehichle to un plug their frozen water pipe. They were so sweet and happy to see us. A quick hi to all. Lightning and the girls celebrated Christmas on Friday. I let them out of the corral and allowed them to eat what hay they wanted, and Austin chased them around the property. They loved it. Sadie curls her tail in a circle when she runs. Lightning seems to feel pretty good. He was running and playing, too. He even felt well enough to butt heads with Rick over the hay, of course. I want to grab the tumor and rip the horrible thing off of his face but would never dare. I hate knowing that's what's going to eventually take him from me, and I'm powerless to stop it. Enjoying him while I can. Love and a Sunday vote. Come visit me, SADIE ** Amber #256716 July HOTM**.

Hi to all. Had the vet out this morning. Lightning's got a huge hole next to the fast growing tumor. Lot's of infection. That's what was draining out of his nose. Part of the bone in his face is gone. The vet said there's nothing he can do. As long as he's eating good, he can be ridden.
