How We Met

I fell in love with Cielito the first time I saw his picture in the add. Immediately I called the owner only to hear he already had been sold to somebody else! The self-destructiv- e side of me drove me to go see him anyways and of course I fell even more in love with Cielito. Very disappointed I went on to look for other horses. Many horses crossed my path, but none of them touched my soul like Cielito had done. 5 weeks later I received a phone call. The seller of Cielito informed me that Cielito failed on the pre-purchase exam and that the deal was off with the person who initially had wanted to buy him. She wondered whether I would be interested and offered a vastly reduced price because of the irregularity in his stride.

Not more than 4 weeks later, my wonderful Cito was grazing happily with his new friends in the pasture near my house. He is happy and healthy and I have yet to notice the irregularity of his stride..
