Fancy is enjoying some cooler, cloudy moments through these hot days.
Monday afternoon, I happened to look out the back door, to see Fancy flipping something up and down. I went to see what it was. The first time she has gotten her fly mask off. It is the one with the velcro that folds back to fasten twice. I wonder how she did it. She saw me coming and she was going to show her new found skills of flipping and tossing her fly mask. I told her no and she looked disappointed, but she did not pick it up. Thanks for all the well wishes for my trip. I'm excited. Austin and I are flying Delta. I picked an airline where you have to pay extra for everything. Sick. Still.

A heartfelt thanks to all for Lightning's second HOTD. It's been exactly 1 year since his first one. With all of the amazing horses on HC, it's truly an honor. I love you all, and your support has been a blessing......Sassy Miss Sadie was a brat today. Putting her bridle on was like trying to put one on a bear. She did not want it. And the saddle was another story. She and Rick butted heads. Not cooperative at all. She was so against it, I had to ride. She was a good girl for the ride. She wanted to go her way which meant we went the opposite. I didn't dismount until she did what she was told. Love to all. Don't forget to vote for our March HOTM runners. Kernel #187063
