How We Met

My 19 year old mare was getting old and she had arthritis in her knee and couldn't handle being rode as much as she use to be rode. My mom and I went to a paint breeding farm that had a 2 year old buckskin paint for sale. We were on a budget and couldn't buy a trained horse. I went there and they showed us Izzy first. She was a weanling and had just been separated from her mom. She could still see her mom because she was in the stall next to Izzy. I went in her stall and Izzy was kinda scared of me, so I went slow. I got to take her out of the stall and brush her. Then we took her out side and I got to lead her around. I instantly fell in love with her. We went to see the other horse, but I couldn't think of getting any other horse than Izzy. We stopped to look at her one more time with my sister and we ended up buying her. Now she loves me and we are learning together..
