Cowboy and Trigger won January HOTM!!!!! And I can't wait to spring it on them when he wakes up!!! Cowboy's will be 12 years old January 7th, this is one of the best early birthday presents ever! I can not call him LITTLE Cowboy anymore, now I shall call him Cowboy. I am sure he will want to go out into the rain to give Trigger treats!

Hi everyone. The photo shoot went well. Sadie had to have an attitude at first. I can't post any pictures on FB, since they're a surprise Christmas gift Trisha and her sister are giving their dad. I'm finally on. I'll try do better about being on everyday possible. Thanks for remembering Sadie. And thanks for your words of kindness. My foot is better. Going to saddle up on a day off next week.... Sadie has a photo shoot Saturday morning. It was rescheduled for 7 am. A friend and her sister are surprising their dad with the pictures for Christmas. What a busy couple of weeks. I went to the Dr. Wednesday. He thinks I have broken ligaments in my foot. Going for x rays next Wednesday. Sadie's good. I want to ride. May try it Thursday. March 2011 be brought Trigger to our house for the weekend. Little Cowboy enjoyed having Trigger home, so we never took Trigger back to the farm to live. During the winter months, Cowboy took care of Trigger while Trigger learned that Cowboy was his boy, and Cowboy began learning to ride Trigger. (you know, the way he likes to be handled and not handled. We are still working on that one.) Things were looking GOOD for Cowboy and Trigger!

Q: What do you call a reindeer with no eyes?
A: I have no eye deer.
Trigger and Fancy are doing fine. Trigger looks at Fancy with awe as she always comes to me when I go in with her halter. Trigger looks like he wants to yell, "Run, you idiot!" Sometimes he will run when he sees me coming. It is funny that Trigger usually does not run from Little Cowboy.

Congratulations, Logan, on Dec. HOTM! I was able to work with my sore foot. Thankful. When I got home, I took Sadie a carrot, apple and lettuce salad, gave her a hug and told her she's my sexy girl. I could tell her anything as long as there's food involved. Going to get a good pair of boots for my birthday in January, if I have to buy them myself. Sorry I haven't been on in a couple of days. Life gets busy. Thanks for remembering Sadie while I was off. Had another accident, yesterday. Sadie spooked, then turned into me. I finally had a day off Monday. Haven't been able to ride in a couple of weeks. I twisted my left foot a week ago last Friday. It's still sore and swollen. No complaints from Sadie, especially since she's been enjoying the bag of apples I bought for her. Thanks for all of the votes for Sadie. Hugs and a vote in return. I'm having problems voting. Keeps kicking me off.... Sadie doesn't care about being in the corral. She starts yelling at me and goes to the gate wanting me to let her out. She's okay at night. I spent some time with her today. Let her out, gave her carrots and loved on her. No ride though. Her mane is growing out. Her tail is still short, but it's growing, too. I do need to get a picture of her strutting her stuff. Love watching her. She seems happy alone. Just wants out during the day. Hugs to all and a vote. we're having great weather here! 40's overnight, high 60's during the day. i rode peach bareback today. she was really good. i didn't canter because my back aches a bit when i do too much. she's pretty bouncy. Come visit me, Sing & Herd.

How is your weekend going? If you did not start classes this past week, is this your last weekend before school begins? Our classes begin this Monday!!!
Little Cowboy and Trigger had a fine time today. Grazing in the back yard to a ride around the neighborhood, to kids following us home, just to see the horse. I took my doggie for a walk during the outing while Fancy screamed in frustration. She looked at me like I was doing her soo wrong. I hope I can get my pups to walk with Fancy so we all can go together one day.

Please pray for Andrea's (with Sweet Pea #192859) grandpa, he has a health issue.
