Color: Black with a "kite" shaped star and left fore coronary band with ermine spots.

Type of Riding: Kite has not been riden a lot. He prefers driving but when riden he is a power house, loves to jump and a natural at dressage.

My Horse's Achievements: Amazing Kite has never been defeated in the Justin Morgan Standard of Perfection Class at A Rated Morgan Shows. He has been a wonderful ambassador for the Morgan breed in clinics, stallion presentations and as a drving horse at home and away.

My Horse's Favorite Treat: Carrots and apples ofcourse!

My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Kite loves attention and is the biggest show off in the barn. He is a wonderful driving horse and loves to see the world while pulling a cart. He is the biggest ham in the show ring and loves to be pampered with three or four girls all grooming him at once. He is very vane, with that "look at me" attitude, always looking to see if anyone is watching him.

Pet Peeves: Amazing Kite has lived with mostly females, both equine and human. He is protective of his mare and equally protective of me and the girls. When a man visits Kite will place himself between that person and me or the girls. If he thinks they are too close he will gently move them away by nudging them with his head. He can become very upset on the rare occasion where a male in the barn becomes loud or rude. He seems to sense tension and once acted like he was going to bite a man who teased one of the girls until she cried. Kite has been known to stalk predators (dogs, cats, coyotes ) who dare enter his field. I have seen him sneak up on an unsuspecting cat who was busy hunting mice. When Kite was within range he stomped on the cat with both front feet. It didn't die, thankfully because it belonged to our neighbor.
