Hi Jock! So sorry it's been so long since I was online! I should be able to get online more now that tax season is over. Last week tax season ended, but my kitty also got really sick and ending up passing away on 4/20/13 so it's been a pretty tough week :( can't wait to get to talking with my HC friends again! Easter vote- I went to see my stallion's only offspring today and he is a beauty. His name is milkshake and he is almost 3 yrs old now same as my Zuni. Milkshake is such a sweet boy just like my stallion. I added 4 photos of him on Zuni's page so stop by and take a look he has very unusal facial markings and a splash of color. Voted- well sounds like if you have the money you can get him help. I think if you can you should, and just assume he won't be able to be your jumper anymore and if he can then super. Hi Jock, so let me see if I have this right. You talked to a vet. Did the vet actually come out and take x-rays to see if it's really a broken pastern? Now you are letting the horse hang out, probably without the help of a cast on the leg and meds for pain. and then you think you are going to jump him/her later on if it heals. I had called the vet and they said no hope for him but have you seen the movie dreamer it could happen I could help him.... but I have no other horse to show jump.So yeah I just came to you guys! instead of putting him down I want him to live.... So I still think there is a hope.

I still haven't heard from the 2nd Farrier. The first one sent me a text message, this morning, saying he'd be back from Texas next Saturday and would be out to do Sadie's hooves on Monday. Voted- I have never had this happen to my horses but I would see what the vet has to say, what are the options. Would he be able to heal and be able to get around? Could the horse every be ridden again? Will the horse be in pain for the rest of life? Find out options and make the best decision for the horse. My wishes are for you and your horse I so hope something can be done. Let me know what you decide and prognosis for your horse. Good Luck to you both. GET YOUR HORSE VET and do not put him down
if he can be a happy horse when healed! How could you think like that? Watch over him and make him better and only decide after a few vets say the same thing. Sorry I haven’t been on as much as planned. I have been super busy with school and training Mac. This spring we will be competing in 1st level dressage which is new to both of us and have been working super hard.

I'd like to congratulate Twilight on winning HOTM. Not much is going on today. I had my school to do. Lovely. I'm getting excited cuz in two weeks I'll be home for a visit and I'll be able to see the horses and donkeys!! How has your first day of March been?
So my story about Sugar and I starts nine and a half years ago. I always wished to have a have a horse of my own. My grandpa promised to get me a horse when my parents were done building the house (that we now live in). Well on in the middle of August my mom and grandma came home after a day of being out and shopping. They had went to see a pony and they showed me the pictures of her. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I'll have more tomorrow.

Hi Jock, here's a vote for ya. Didn't ride, but did to and see Paige today. Did a really nice video on my friends camera, jog, extended jog and lopeing. She was awesome today and is really coming on strong! Got home and played with Indy and Bullseye and then relaxed. My eye is not a magenta and purple with a little yellow, very colorful! LOL! We got some more snow today,but no accumulation so it didn't last long. It is suppose to be like that for the next few days. I had a Writing&Grammer test today and I got a 95% which is an A!! Also yesterday I turned in my writing assignment and I got a B on it!! That is really good cuz my writing assignments haven't been the best lately. Well our winter weather came last night and all we got was rain. That is good...I'm not complaining. :) Today I started up my Omnibus (history,theology,and literature all in one) class. Happy Sunday!
It snowed (again) last night. I normally like the snow, but enough is enough. The old snow hasn't even melted away yet, so now there's just snow on top of snow. Oh well, I'll just make a thermos of hot chocolate and head to the barn to watch the horses romp in all the white stuff. Winter OR summer, it's fun to watch horses run and play! It is warmer today which is nice. The snow is melting some but then it gets below freezing at night so it'll probably all ice over. Not much going on. Just trying to kill time cuz I'm so bored. lol Next weekend (I think) we are gonna celebrate Noah's birthday and then the weekend after that we are going home for a visit!! I can't wait. I'm going stircrazy. Well, we got our winter weather last night. We got about two and a half inches of snow with a thin layer of ice over it. There was a bunch of cars stuck in the snow yesterday. Well we got some winter weather. It started sleeting around 10:30 this morning and around 11:15 it turned over to snow and has been ever since. If I was home I'd hate cuz chores are hard to do in the snow. Since I'm here in the apartment I don't have much to do, so I'm kinda enjoying it. lol I was wanting to ask if ya'll could vote for Elva.
