HI ALL! Sorry I haven't been on much lately. Just can't find the time much anymore. I appreciate all your blogs and votes. I have decided to keep only one profile page. This way it will be easier to keep up with the blogs, if they are posted on one page. I will keep Susie's page and I will delete the other 4 pages. Dewormed the girls today. It was a battle, but got it done. Rick got on Sadie bareback, and using only her halter and lead rope, rode her around the corral. Impressive. He has a gift. And she's only been ridden with a saddle. He hopped up on Star and sat for a few seconds. She stood still for him. Got to keep fattening her up. Austin didn't vote for me yesterday. Said he forgot. Well, he's fired. Took him in and got him registered for school. Taking him tomorrow for his learner's permit. Got to finish up his school shopping, too.... When we got home, I let the girls out of the corral. I held the gate as Sadie ran out. She'd been begging at the gate for days, so I figured I'd give her some free time. As I was waiting for Star, a dust devil blew through. I was in it's path. Sand stung my ankles and, even tho I covered my face, I got a faceful. Been shaking it out of my hair. So sorry about not voting yesterday. Hugs and a Wednesday afternoon vote. We had a dust storm blow in from the east side of Phoenix today. We got the tail end of it and none of the rain. Austin and I were out in the corral with the girls. Wind spooks them. We were covered in sand and dirt. Temperatures have been around 108*. Some humidity. Want to ride but not in this heat. Hugs and a Monday vote. The dust storms happen every summer. A Semi flipped over on the interstate next to where I work Tuesday night after running into the back of an suv. Haven't heard about the injuries. Hope they were minor. I could see lights from the accident but nothing else.....Solar panels are great. All you have to do is rinse them off when they get dirty. Ours will be off for the next week, or so, because the relay switch broke during the storm. Seems the switch was too small.... Started the girls on their Psyllium treatments Thursday evening. Instead of twice a day, I give it to them once in the evening with a sweet feed mix. I only give Sadie about a third of the feed I give Star. Sadie doesn't need to gain weight... Way too hot to ride. Yesterday's storm was a bad one. One of the worst dust storms ever. It was said on the news that it was 50 miles wide. A lot of people lost power. Ours flickered. Solar panels didn't kick on today. Something may have blown loose....Picking up psyllium pellets today and starting the treatment tonight. Got to get more Senior feed for Star. She's slowly gaining weight. Love and a vote. HI! Leaving you a vote, thank you for helping Peanut!! SO, for HOTD I would like it to just be surprise...but if a horse wants to run on a curtain day to be HOTD then yeah I think you get it LOL! Also, starting July 1, there can only be 1 or 2 HOTM runners.
Anyways, just thought I would let you know. Its really hard to keep up with the HOTD votes. So, how are you? Today is bright and beautiful.
