Big Hi! I gave the bag of corn to some neighbors for their cows. They have 2 and sometimes run out of hay. I hear the poor things crying out sometimes. Breaks my heart. Want to help them, but things haven't been the best lately. Will do what I can. I picked up 2 bales of hay Thursday evening and brought them home in the trunk of my Monte Carlo. Don't care for the scratches on the car, but the girls are more important. Love and a vote. Come visit me, SADIE ** Amber #256716 July HOTM**.

Big hi. The weather today was weird. It was really windy. It shook the house at times. It even rained hard for maybe a minute. I didn't ride, but hope to Wednesday. Love being in the saddle. Austin and I dewormed the girls Thurday. They always know something's up when I go out to the corral with their halters. Star's the worst about deworming. She puts up a good fight and is so strong. Got it done, tho'. And thanks for all of the well wishes. You're all the best. Love and a vote. Come visit me, SADIE ** Amber #256716 July HOTM**.

Big hi to all. The farrier came out Tuesday morning and did a great job. Of course, Sadie had attitude. She hasn't been ridden in 4 months because of the heat. Time to get her back in gear....Cowboy Doug was out playing in his yard yesterday. Didn't have his hat on. After Sadie's gets some training, I'll invite him over for a ride. I wish his dad wasn't allergic to horses. Makes it hard for Cowboy Doug. He has to shower immediately afterwards....Dwaine wanted to come over, but I was at work. Will take pictures of him working with Sadie. She doesn't like to run. He's got to work on that with her, too. Love and a Wednesday vote. Come visit me, SADIE ** Amber #256716 July HOTM**.

FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS: “Go around the barn at high noon to avoid colloquialisms." (unknown) Haaave a vote from my Fancy filly, this Monday night. Well, the hay frame is holding up. There is little hay on the ground. I still have to give it a few days before I say Fancy won't demolish it. Fancy is still chasing kittens, but when she catches up with them she is not trying to stomp them anymore. I can't believe the kittens don't run from her anymore. She sniffs them and snorts at them. I have not seen King this past weekend. My brother does spend time with him and he seems to be enjoying himself with his new King. I can not believe it will be autumn this month! I only plan to ride more. Do you plan any different horsey related activities due to the change in seasons?
