today was a day to get some barn chores done. mowing, disinfecting curries and brushes, running errands and such. spent some time with the dogs. we got a tiny bit of rain but nothing to speak of. the clouds kept the temps down in the 90's but very high humidity. how many times do you think i shower and change clothes? usually 3 times a day. :) Come visit me, Sing & Herd.

Rode Lilly yesterday, she was pretty good, but really lazy. I’m probably gonna get some Tom Thumbs out next time I ride so she will pick up her canter easier and act like a hunter, not a western pleasure horse!

Out break of EHV-1 in 6 Western states.he states affected so far are Arizona, Utah, California, Idaho, Washington and Colorado. The infected horses had all attended a National Cutting Horse Assoc. show in Utah in early May. Several horses have already been euthanized.
Glad Lilly and I are safe in NC. All those involved are in our thoughts.

Well today i rode Mac twice!! He was great got over 149 pictures of him so uploaded the best 21 of the below!! Hope you like them!! He was really great and the Gordon said he is going to be a really pretty show horse this year!! Had fun taking him on trail rides and riding him bareback!! He forgave me from the whole dewormer incident!! Can’t wait, got to ride Mac 3 times this weekend and have riding tomorrow!!
