Had some Sadie time today. We both need it everyday. It's getting hot here, so I didn't ride. I put the halter on her and walked her off the property. She was a little nervous, so we took it slow, stopping when she needed to to look around and see that she was okay. Neighborhood dogs were barking at us. She walked a little fast on the way back to the house. Had to keep stopping her to slow her down. She loved it. Going to walk her more often to get her use going off the property. Going to work up to riding her. Last time I rode her off the property, she was nervous and wanted to fight me. She should trust me more now. Hugs and a vote. Went out to check on Sadie when I got home from work last night. She'd torn her fly mask off. It lasted 10 days. Hope to someday move away from the egg ranch. The flies are horrible. Thanks everyone who voted or will vote for Sparkles. When I first seen her, she just made me cry, and I was not ssure if I could save her. But when she came off the trailer in the middle of the night, her eyes just sparkled, with such life, and a will to live. the last few work shifts have been exhausting. i went overtime last night after working 16 hours. today i'm dragging. working out in the arena and a cold wind blew in. the temp dropped from 74 to 54 in an hour. my lesson riders teeth were chattering. lol. a north wind makes it feel much colder. i put a light rain blanket on princeton. he prob doesn't need it but i feel better. fell asleep on the couch and just woke up so i didn't want to miss voting again today on HC. Hi, left a vote. Saddle didn't fit, put it up for sale today. Played with Dusty today. Used a hula hoop for the first time, he didn't care. Put it around his neck, walked him around with it there, he didn't care. I don't think he liked it, tolerated it though. Good boy Dusty! Posted two pics of it. Come visit me, Toby & Amber.
