Thanks for all the sweet comments for my son with Scotty (and his various other mounts). This child has a natural love for horses (and other animals too). He gets tickled when I tell him about comments you leave for him. Every now and then he reads them his self. But he is a bit too wiggly to sit here long. LOL.
I love seeing children with horses! So you know I enjoy watching him with Scotty. It has made him so happy to have Scotty here. He is always talking to and petting on Scotty. Scotty has an expression that says he enjoys my son and loves the attention. Scotty is such a sweet natured horse:~)
If you have a sweet natured horse and a cute kid with a special bond, please tell us about them in your blog. I know my son would love to hear about them!

thank you for the vote.flicka she is pretty and has a great personalty.i sent her to be trained suspose to ride her friday.i sure do miss her and my other horse prissy is missing her to.wish me luck and pray for me.i like your picture. Come visit me, prissy.

Hey!! Sorry I have not been on lately on Saturday & Sunday i was at the horse show which went very well!! Mac was a really good boy and we won allot of ribbons and we even won the English High point for the 2 shows put together!! I will have to post a picture of it when i get the picture from my coach.
Then i have been offline Monday & Tuesday because my grandpa has been in the hospital and still is and we have been going to sit and be with him there and right now i have a little down time!! So if i am not ion sometimes that is where i am!! Please pray for him!!!

Cocoa Bean stands out in the Miracle in Motion Herd!
Breed: Paint
Age: 13
Height: Not sure but about 14.2 hands
Coloring: Cocoa Bean is a Sorrel Tohiano with a wide blaze. All and all an easy horse to spot when he is standing in the pasture with the herd.
Cocoa Bean is the newest horse to enter the Miracles in Motion Program. During the Spring 2011 session volunteers rode him in class (with a horse committee person leading and side walkers) to make sure he was ready for a class setting. He started working in Therapeutic Riding Classes in the Summer 2011 session and the students love him.
Cocoa Bean and his owner use to ride on lots of trails before he moved to Miracles in Motion where his own sees him often as she is a volunteer.

Today’s featured horse is Jasper.
Breed: Quarter Pony
Age: 21
Height: 13 hands
Coloring: Bay with a black mane and tail. He has white socks on his hind legs and a white pastern on his front right leg. He is easy to spot in the pasture because he also has a bald face.
Past: Jasper was a used by his old owners as a 4H Pony.
Jasper is a great horse and loves to be groomed. However he doesn’t really like dogs. He does need an assertive horse leaders because he likes to push them into the center (of the arena) and nip while trotting. He has a smooth walk and trot. He can canter but doesn’t like to and gets hot and wheezes. One of his goals is to work on flexion and bending. Jasper joined the Miracle in Motion herd in 2001 and has worked with a lot of students in the past 10 years. He is used for hippotherapy as well as Therapeutic Riding Classes. Jasper will lunge and ground drive as well. I have ridden him and agree that he as a great pony.
