I love your story and your profile info!!! Your horse sounds so much like my Fancy. They both are TWH, I got her at age 10 months and I am training her myself. And guess what? I began teaching Fancy to lay down a few days ago, before I got sick. I had posted a photo of her laying down for me the fist time. I will load it on the bottom Fancy's page after I leave your page.

Fancy is leaving a Friday vote. She is not happy cause I have not had the strength to spend time with her since Tuesday. She pitches a fit when she sees me. I wanted to spend time with her but I just didn't feel well.
Wednesday, I tasted vinegar soaked pork. By evening my lip was swollen. Thursday morning my entire face was swollen, had difficulty swallowing, dry cough & could hardly talk. To the doc I went.
She gave me a shot in the hip that did sting!!! I yelled, which I don't usually do. Had to stay there for at least 30 minutes after the shot. Hip was hurting when we left, throat began to open, & got my voice back.
The swelling doesn't go down completely, it increases when I sleep & in the hour before my next med dose. I guess it will take time to recover.
I have 3 pills, 2 times for 6 days & I have to visit the allergist for testing.
