How are you doing?
Sorry I haven’t been on as much as planned. I have been super busy with school and training Mac. This spring we will be competing in 1st level dressage which is new to both of us and have been working super hard.

I meant to get on this past weekend but I was pretty busy helping out with my family and celebrating Joy's birthday (even if it was a month late). Sorry, but I thought I'd get on today.
Last week I was able to go home for a visit and see the equines. It was great!! I spent hours out there with the horses and donkeys just soaking it all up. I even accidently fell asleep in the haybale. I woke up from my nap surrounded by Ransom and Angela who were hungry and eating. Elva was laying down by the haybale and a lil ways off Sug was laying down to.
I saw a bunch of geese flying north. Hopefully, spring will be here soon. It is getting a lil bit warmer; so that is nice. Our spring flowers are getting ready to bloom. Are there any signs that spring is coming to ya'll?

Hey!!I'm sorry it has been so long since I got on here. A bunch of stuff has happened and I'll try to get ya'll up-to-date.
First of all, Joy is doing very good.She had her bone marrow transplant on the 18th of January and she is now at the apartment.We are all at the apartment cuz Joy has to be so close to the hospital after her transplant and our home is to far away.:( Joy is doing very well being a big sister.She has a few problems sharing Mom, but otherwise she is doing good.
Providence Hope was born last Tuesday and is healthy as can be.She looks quite a bit like Joy which is scary. lol She is starting to show a small interest in the rest of her family besides Mom,Dad,and Joy.
Noah and Hannah are doing good.Half of the time they are ready to kill each other and the other half they are just playing together all sweet like.Who knows.lol
Sugar is doing good.She is such a sweetheart.Finally, living up to her name.She was happy to see me when I came home on Monday even though I had been gone for only two days.Sure hope she is like that when we move home in May!!
Angela had beening loving up on me more.She'd let me rub,pat,and scratch all over her before we left.When I get home I'm gonna working on teaching her how to lead cuz a donkey has some stubborness issues.
Lil Elva is getting bigger and I'm gonna try and working on halter breaking her when I get home.She is so cute!!She'll sass Ransom around and it is funny cuz she is so small and he's the biggest one there.
Ransom is doing good.I saved him for last cuz he has really changed.Ransom was kinda aloof.I'd pet on him and he'd just stand there looking around and would hardly ever nuzzle me like the others did.Then about two weeks ago I decided to brush cuz I needed to clear my mind from everything.Ever since I brushed him,he has been more affectionate.He'll walk up to me and nibble,lick,nuzzle,and just breathe on me.It is so cool!!When I came home after being at the apartment for two days.Ransom came to see me.After I had seen him for a lil bit the girls came to see me.Ransom then started nipping and kinda chasing after them like he wanted me all to himself.Who knows...it was nice being loved on though.When I get home I'm just gonna work on building our relationship with Ransom and then ride him some.
I'm doing ok.This time around with everything going on with Joy has been hard.I've always heard people say that horses are the best therapists, but now I know for sure that they are.Without them I would probably be doing bad.I don't have many friends, but I definetly count my horses and donkeys as my best friends.

After church today Young Cowboy and I finally enjoyed HorseTime! Most of my time was taken removing mudd from horses, but I enjoyed every minute! Finally to ride! I did not ride Saturday with friends because I had not ridden in weeks and I do not like to take Fancy out when I have not worked with her.
Young Cowboy is very excited for his 12th birthday tomorrow!
The changes to HC are very nice. I am happy to see it does not look like we have lost any friends here.
Well, I better hurry to bed, we have another big day coming :)

What a busy couple of weeks. I went to the Dr. Wednesday. He thinks I have broken ligaments in my foot. Going for x rays next Wednesday. Sadie's good. I want to ride. May try it Thursday. March 2011 be brought Trigger to our house for the weekend. Little Cowboy enjoyed having Trigger home, so we never took Trigger back to the farm to live. During the winter months, Cowboy took care of Trigger while Trigger learned that Cowboy was his boy, and Cowboy began learning to ride Trigger. Congratulations, Logan, on Dec. HOTM! I was able to work with my sore foot. Thankful. When I got home, I took Sadie a carrot, apple and lettuce salad, gave her a hug and told her she's my sexy girl. I could tell her anything as long as there's food involved. Going to get a good pair of boots for my birthday in January, if I have to buy them myself. Please pray for Charlie, he is sick. He has refused to eat for 3 days now, has been vomiting for 3 days, and now he has very runny poop! Took him to the vet first thing this morning, he does not have parvo! But she doesn't know what it is. She gave him an injection to calm his stomach down, and hopefully he will eat today at noon. If not, back he goes tomorrow. Was going to go ride today, but I need to stay home and watch Charlie.Come visit me, Toby & Amber.

where did the day go? i feel like i time travelled to this evening and skipped thurs "day". lol. my little rider who had injured her ankle came back tonight. her doctor cleared her for riding. guess she had to use crutches for 3 weeks. really bad sprain. she got right back into the swing of it with a ride on princeton, her favorite. Leaving a vote. I'm gonna try to be getting on once every week or two. I hope that ya'll are doing good. How have you been? Have you been able to see the horse(s)? How is your weather?
We are all doing good. We enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving all together. We have got the house decorated all of Christmas. We have a fake Christmas tree cuz Joy can't have live plants in the house. We used to have real ones until last year. Joy is doing good. She is a handful.
The horses are doing very well. Ransom has finally made friends with the donkeys! He'll just stand beside them and even eats at the haybale with them. I even caught him licking Elva once! Sugar is doing better with the donkeys. She is just now getting friendly with them. I think their long ears kinda freak the horses out. lol
The donkeys are doing good to. Angela seems to enjoy the horses' company and she is even getting excited to see me. She now walks up to the fence or gate whenever I walk outside and watches my every move. I catch Elva hanging around Ransom quite a bit. She is very friendly too. Elva lets me pet on her and will follow me around.
Also I seem to be getting new horse loving followers. My little brother and sister have been messing with the horses and donkeys more. Hopefully, I'll be able to "corrupt" one (or both of them) to be horse lovers!! Hope all is well. Love Kelsey,the horses, and the donkeysCome visit me, ~Ransom~, ~Elva~, ~R.I.P. HI, left a vote. I woke up to a very loud noise, sounded like something hit the house! We are in the middle of a storm, winds with gusts up to 50mph, been hearing the wind hit the house all night. Haven't gone out yet to see what that loud noise was. Logan was suppose to get his feet trimmed, and front shoes reset this morning, but the farrier called and said "high winds and shoeing is a very dangerous situation"! I told him I was just getting ready to call him to cancel. Anyway, he will come out next week. Guess it is time to start cleaning the house for Thanksgiving. Come visit me, Toby & Amber.

Hi, left a vote. Went down and watched the team penning yesterday. A lot of my friends had come to watch me and Logan. So wish my rides hadn't backed out on me. One of my rides, they usually take me, were there! I am thinking, I asked you if you were going, you said not sure, never heard back from you, yet you are here! Yes, I could have asked again yesterday am, but I don't want to be a pest, she said she would let me know, and she didn't.
Dogs did really well yesterday, today not off to a good start! Charlie needs to learn that when Frankie is growling at you, back off! He didn't, Frankie bit his nose, Charlie whined for a lit bit, now Frankie is on my left side, and Charlie is on my right side, they are both sleeping! LOL!Come visit me, Toby & Amber.
