My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Taz is the most happy when he's jumping, but his arthritis has retired him from jumping(althoug- h we still jump occasionally) Trails would be his next favorite thing, he is the most relaxing ride ever.

How We Met

My plans were to sell the project pony I had trained, take lessons on other horses, and save up what I would normally spend on board, so that at the end of the year I could go to a big sale in Lexington VA and buy my "dream show horse". All my years of hard work and frustration training green/problem horses were going to be over and I was going to finally own my big show horse.

One day my mom was surfing around looking at horses(just for fun) when she came across a QH gelding just about 20minutes away. His description was very simple; All-around Youth QH Gelding, 15.3 hands, gentle and uncomplicated. There was a picture of him being ridden bareback, and one of him walking western. Mom decided to call up the owner and surprised me at the barn later that day by telling me I was going to go look at a horse. I was confused, cause I hadn't even sold my project pony yet(although I had some people coming to look him). She said it wouldn't hurt to go look.

The moment I saw him I knew this was the horse. He was all muscle, tall, dark, and handsome. When I saw his owner riding him it only added to my liking of him. When I rode him it sealed the deal. You just sat there and he rocked it. It was like riding one of my trainer's horses.

A week later and he came home with me. Three days after that we went to our first show together and took home all blues.
