FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS, Happy Birthday Joyce!!!!
Here is a vote from Fancy and Trigger. It sure is hard to get a lot done when it gets dark soo early. Cowboy and I rode for a while after church. I did not clean up since I knew my time was limited. We had so much fun. I will clean up Monday and we hope to ride again. Fancy was a bit high strung, but she was listening. After our ride, we practiced our showmanship lessons. Fancy has not forgetten her lessons, but she was slow. Which I expected since it was before Christmas since we worked on them. Trigger was on his best behavior. I can't believe how calm he is for an Arabian. I have never seen an Arabian with his quietness and willingness. After dropping Little Cowboy off for his first day at junior high school, Fancy and I enjoyed an outing. This was the first time I rode in several days. Fancy was pretty good. A few times she worried for Trigger. But she was more good than bad and I let her graze in a few places. It was nice to enjoy some time with her.
Are you planning any thing special to celebrate back to school days?
Please pray for Andrea's (with Sweet Pea #192859) grandpa, he has a health issue.

Today has been a very busy day for Little Cowboy and his Trigger. They have a horse show coming up Saturday. Little Cowboy and Trigger learned to carry a flag and they practiced many activities. Made me very tired just keeping up with them and taking pics. I did get to let Fancy graze in the back yard for a little while :)

Well today I gave my little bro and sis a horse lesson on Comanche I'm so proud of him he is so tolerant of them and my sister is really starting to be able to jump!!!!!
Pride took his bath really well today all he needed is repetition with the scary water! Lol!

voted i am looking for a gelding on horse clicks we dont have any place to keep a horse on at our house but my grandma is going to ask my grandpa if i can keep one at there barn where cocoa and babe are kept please pray that i can get a horse of my own it would be a dream/miracle come true glad you found a horse on horse clicks want to be friends.

every once in awhile i look up sing's sire, high brite, at his web page at harris farm in CA. yesterday, i looked him up and read that he was euthanized in july 2010 at age 26. he had 16 mares in foal that year. his get are known for their calmness and good dispositions. even though i have no connection i still feel sad about it. i hope sing lives longer than 26! she looks alot like him. do you think i'm silly for feeling loss of a stallion i never met? my HC friends probably understand. :) Come visit me, Sing & Herd.

Unadoptable? No Way!
Torque was brought to the Hide-E-Hole ferret rescue as an alternative to being put down. He was returned to the pet store 5 times, and was not considered adoptable. he had been mistreated, was terrified of people, and painfully bit anyone who tried to touch him. I fostered him to see if he could be tamed enough to be adopted from the shelter. He was very defensive at first but, with some gentle reprimands for the defensive biting behavior and lots of unconditional love, he slowly transformed into a happy, docile ferret. Now he can even be trusted to play gently with children! He turned into such a sweetheart that I decided to keep him. He is a fantastically fun and loving companion who brightens every day, proof that persistent unconditional love can rehabilitate even the most feral and vehement creature....

got several new students starting this week...yay! we're trying to stay cool in the summer heat by just playing games and resting alot. i made a video showing our "ride a buck". putting some fans on the horses when they come in to feed. hope you get some horsey time, too. that's a nice trailer. is it new? Rick spent some time with the girls Wednesday evening. He and Sadie butted heads, as usual. Both are hard headed. Star just loves him. I was leading her back into the corral. Rick said something to Sadie, and Star stopped and wouldn't move until he came over to her. He walked her into the corral. I think she'd go anywhere with him.
