My Horse's Achievements: cantering, teaching a fjord to canter is the hardest thing you will ever teach a fjord.

My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: bobbing for apples, you can put apples in the water and Flick will put her whole face under water just to get that apple
Pet Peeves: Flicka is not a fan of being away from the herd but is getting much better about going down the Rd by herself

How We Met
We got Flicka because Fjords are small calm draft horses. and that sounded like a good breed to get for my mom, who is inexperienced. But finding a Fjord in Michigan is very hard, and if you do find one it's going to cost $5,000. but we found Flicka she is only 75% Fjord and 25% Quarter horse. and even though she is not a full blooded Fjord, she was the right price, with the Fjord look and personality.

I can't believe it is Thursday already!
Are you planning any good rides during the Thanksgiving holiday? We usually ride to my Mom's for dinner. But I might miss that again because I am sure I will have to help more in the kitchen now.
