Type of Riding: For now he is only being back yard conditioned but he'll go to shows this summer. I do everything with him. But right now we are working more on neck reining, stearing by leg pressure only and WHOA!! He loves to jump. He will walk over things like ditches if i make him walk over it, but he likes to jump them. :)
My Horse's Achievements: He has learned to neck rein and he also learned to listen to just my legs when i let go of the reins. He can now sidepass and he's working at the pivot. On 11/13/11 he jumped 2.6! In April 2012 he took my friend (who was a complete beginer) on a trail ride for his 1st trail ride him over 6months in just a bridle, he was so good!
My Horse's Favorite Treat: He will eat just about anything he thinks is food. :P But he loves his grain when I soak it, loves to roll and LOVES when i let him graze the front yard by himself.
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: He loves to eat. I can safley say that he has a bottomless pit for a stomach! He also likes to be ridden, he likes it better when i ride him in a saddle, and even though he just learned to neck rein he likes neck reining better than direct!
Pet Peeves: He isn't very fond of baths and very frequently gets himself dirty. He hates when I put Corn Oil in his grain. He doesn't like it when i feed him just ONE scoop of grain, he almost always demands more. He hates it when I don't trust him, He hates it when you tell him one hing with your hands and another with your feet (He's no longer a beginer horse and any beginers that ride him take lessons on him fist then ride him in a halter because the bit is to much for a beginer to handle) he also hates when I turn his "fun" into work, like when he decides to canter off i make him canter dircles and thats getting him nowhere fast but tired. But he HATES bareback most of all. :P He hates many things, but he tends to get over them!

How We Met
I was looking for a larger horse to do shows with, my little pony Jasper was getting too small and I couldn't show him. We looked at sevral VERY nice horses and some not so nice ones. When I showed up to try him out it was almost 100F outside, he still troted and cantered dispite it being so hot. We sent a picture of his legs to the person who was helping me pick one out. She texted back "Take him!" because his legs were VERY nicely put together. I decided I wanted to think on it, but halfway home I ended up calling the owner back and telling her we would pick him up that week. My 11year old broke to death beautifull Palamino boy was bought at a bargin for only $900. Had I not called, the person coming that evening would have definatly bought him!.

i love your horse hes so pretty!!! i am a huge fan of the jumping! i compete in showjumping all the time! its so much fun. P.S. i also LOVE the picture you have of Savvy That under the apple trees! left a vote :) Come visit me, Coffee & Cheif.

yes, thank you! And same here, everything that I've done and learned is all form me! And for me, to compete in shows and win 1st (NOT BRAGGING!) knowing that everything I know all came from my own brain has a lot of satisfaction

Savvy's Journal:
Well..I bucked my mom off pretty good finally. She had the 7yr old girl in the saddle and she road behind the saddle, I got excited and started to canter and mom tried to pull me back but the little girl clenched my sides with her heels and i got confused so i took off at a gallop and bucked them rright off. Mom grabed the little girl and turned her so she wouldn't get hurt but Mom fell and hit her head and got knocked out and got a concussion.....rigth before exams. Oops.....Looks like no more galloping for me for some time because it makes me rambunsius. I don't think she blamed me very much but she wasn't in the mood for any more antics so i was good while she rode me for 5more mins then put me back in the pasture so we would end on a good note. I feel bad too because she can't see me sunday because she has to study for exams and I took her and Jaspers time together away b/c she was hurt and had to go home....it's a good thing I'm not int he ame pasture as Jasper....he would WOOP me!Come visit me, Jasper, In Memory of Strato <3 & Savvy That.

Savvy's Journal:
I got wormed Sunday.........I didn't like it one bit! Mom tricked me into takeing it cuz i didn't want it so i was a jerk and wouldn't let her stick it in my mouth, so she tricked me by sticking her fingures in my mouth then suddenly putting the wormer in my mouth. So I was mad, untill she gave me my draft sized portion of grain.....then i was happy. We also galloped and jumped Sunday, She poped the jump upto 2.6 and I cleared it twice but she decided that we would bring it back down to only 2ft and try to jump smaller till i'm conditioned and ready for the big jumps. Mom fed me less than usuall yesterday....it didn't make me happy at all so i proceeded to be a jerk while she road me just to put my point across. :) I heard her and Lisa talking about me getting a bit of a worm belly, so aparently they are going to worm me today. hello!!
in need of a horse for my mom
some thing at least 12 to 20 years old, and calm,and must be western,and must be in lower western michigan,sume thing kid safe,must know how to trail ride,no ponys!,must be at least 15hh,eny coloer dose not matter....he/she will be on 26 acers of green grass...and will be well taken care of and will have lots of love....if eny one has got eny thing pleas let me know....thank you P.S. will be used for pleasure riding
