Quick hi. The kids came back over Monday for one last ride before leaving to go home to Louisiana. Sassy Miss Sadie was. I wanted the kids to have a nice ride, but Sadie was a pain in the butt. She didn't want to be ridden. I rode first. I could tell she wasn't in the best of riding moods. She kept stopping with the kids and was very uncooperative. I had to make her go. Brat. I guess you can have an off day no matter how many legs you have. I posted a picture of Nathan, Sadie and Star on the bottom of Sadie's page. Big hi. The foal is a quarter horse. I asked how much and Mike said $1000. I'm not in the market, tho'. I fell in love with her nose and her adorable little hooves. When I got back from looking at the horses with Jessica, I went out back to check on Star and Sadie. I'd left them out of the corral while we were gone. Sadie, somehow, unlatched the doors to the tough shed and had one laying on the ground. She'd taken the container, with feed in it, out of the shed. Since she couldn't get it opened, she must've tossed it, because I found it down by the storage shed about 30 ft., or so, away. She's a handful Hugs and a vote. Big hi! My friend, Jessica, didn't make it over, but my friend, Lisa, and her husband, Dale, did. Dale use to own horses and took people on trail rides. He gave me some good advice on how to sit in the saddle and how my my feet are suppose to fit in the stirrups. He, also talked about body language. He then rode a very stubborn Sadie. His wife use to barrel race. She said Sadie scares her. They're coming back over when they can....HC channel makes voting hard. I didn't get to finish working on the girls' shade. By the time the drill was charged, it was too late and too cold. I'm paying Austin and his friend, Andrew, to finish it for me, because I have to work this evening and won't be able to work on it myself. And Sadie's modeling her blanket. I posted her picture on the bottom of her page. She's almost too big for it. So thankful to Susan for the blankets. She's an amazing friend. Love and a vote. Help!
I got Thalia at a horse action, right? Well they glued a number on her side, and I can't get the glue off! I am not going to clip her till next spring, so it will be there till then. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? I was thinking about nail polish remover, Will that do any good? Will it hurt her?Come visit me, Thalia.

Scooby
Scooter AKA Scooby is so loveable!! He has a 55 gallon drum thats cut down to maybe a foot deep and theres a hole in the bottom, so he drops his bucket/drum whatever you wanna call it, anyways he will drop it in his stock tank, it goes like this: he'll drop it into the water let it sink, stick his head in and take it out wait for the water to drain and do it again!. He also likes to trot around with it in his mouth, and when he does this it scares his "sister" so she runs and it looks like he's chasing her. Also when they get fed they have a gate closed , not chained,between him and his "sister" and after both of them are done eating he will open it and let Ellie (his "sister") out into the big corral. he also likes to lick and knaw through ice. And when he rides in a horse trailer he will brace himself by streching out his legs as far as they can go so he doesn't fall over. Oh yeah, he's scared of cows:PCome visit me, Hooter, Ellie & Scooter.
