I am from Larkin Valley, CA and I've been a Club Horse member for 1 year, 4 months and 17 days
Nicknames: Mostly Sprocket thats what he's called around the barn, but his nick names are Sprocky, Sprock, Golden Boy, bad apple, rat, s**t head (only in a very loving manner) hot shot, buddy boy, fat head and probably others i can't remember right now.
Age: 9 years old
Gender: Gelding
Breed: Welsh Pony and Cob
Height: 14.3hh
Color: Buckskin (not dun next person to call him a dun is a dead man/woman) with a star, 3 white pasterns and a partial coronet.
Type of Riding: Right now we have been doing a pretty even mix of jumpers and dressage and I've been talking with my trainer about starting cross-country soon but I hardly have anytime with school and such, we also enjoy just trail riding and hopping on bareback but for me it is important that no matter what we do we are both enjoying it. I will not tolerate people treating there horses like objects if Sprocky has a bad day I'll just do liberty or chill in the pasture.
My Horse's Achievements: Since I was last on Sprocket's old page he has achieved a lot, he is still a constant struggle even my trainer agrees with this and she's pro but he's really starting to mature he isn't quite as crazy we've been doing a lot of trails by ourselves and in the last couple of months he's only dumped me once and it was totally legitemit to (some j**k a*s with a motor bike), also I can give him a hard look and get him to move away from me (some days are better then others) we have also been working on backing up on the ground and he's really getting good.
My Horse's Favorite Treat: Don't make me make a list there's not really anything he doesn't like.
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Ah, well recently he has become the "king" of the lower pasture (all of three horses and ones a baby. Oh ya, he's a real man), but he thinks he's the greatest thing since the internet so I wont burst his bubble, he has been having a good time playing in the arena we do this thing where we chase each other around it used to be kinda dangerous when we started but he's really getting good at not rearing over my head. He always loves a good role, and food of course you can't forget the food.
Pet Peeves: Hi peeves of recent have been trying to nibble my arms when he's walking behind me, I tried out an uncomfortable saddle on him a bit ago and he was angry at me for like two weeks (jeez I never knew a horse to hold such a long grudge) I'll just call it a pet peeve since I not sure what else it would be and he's been getting seriously miffed when I brush him to hard with the dandy brush.
My Horse's motto:
